Haven Marina

Within walking distance not overpriced but sadly the wifi didn’t reach our room and the fridge wasn’t working the staff were nice

I had dinner there one night and was blown away by the quality of the food - the seafood in particular was fresh and flavorful. The breakfast buffet was also excellent, with a wide variety of options to choose from.The staff at Haven Marina are friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with any questions or requests. They truly went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable, and I appreciated their attentiveness.The location of Haven Marina is another big plus - it's just a short walk to the beach and the main strip of shops and restaurants in Glenelg. I also appreciated the free on-site parking, which made it easy to explore the surrounding areas by car.Overall, I highly recommend Haven Marina for anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay in Glenelg. The location, views, and amenities are all top-notch, and the staff are some of the friendliest I've encountered.

Terrible. If you want hot water, go elsewhere. First morning, ice cold showers. Filthy floor, and paper thin walls. Not exactly budget either.

great location but quiet dirty .. next to no maintenance or cleaning everywhere .. room was ok but the tv only had signal for 2 channels..

A bit tied, they are re-doing room for room, and so on, but it is clean, beds comfy, hot showers and the staff are great, especially Sharon, who assisted us with extending our booking at a better rate. Located close to restaurants, the tram and the marina, if you on a budget, this is for you.

The only reason a star is given is the service was polite. Other than that the room was smelly and very dirty. When requesting cleaning it was not available. Requesting a mop was not available. We could not leave with two days before News Eve as there was no alternative but to stay. The only way was to clean our own accommodation.We would NOT recommend this accommodation!

live cockroach on floor when we came in room and had to squash it, broken window boarded up with a piece of metal to hold it in place did not make us feel safe and broken glass was left on the roof overlooking our room, fan in bathroom did not work, shower taps made so much noise when trying to regulate water, air con not working correctly and front of air con filter was missing or off, door handle to enter the room was quite loose and we could see outside, shower water rose under the floor and come out under the hand sink onto bathroom floor, rooms smell musty and i am sure nothing was up to standardAt no time did we try and open the window as we are not that silly. The window had been boarded up possibly after someone tried to break in and was not repaired and maintenance was obviously not maintained!Cleanliness is an issue and you definitely have a problem with cockroaches.

Sorry but I wanted to leave as soon as I got to our room. The room was not what we were expecting. Pet friendly, they say, I'm glad we didn't bring ours. Cracks in the floor toilet seat that almost fell off. We slept on top of the blankets because I was worried about what might bit me while I slept. Perfect location. Everything else

Firstly I'll start with the positives. The lady at the reception was lovely and it is a nice location, which is probably what you're paying for. We paid $155 for a marina view queen" room.- The road outside is busy so the traffic is very loud- The wifi did not reach our room- The fridge was dirty and overheating due to being enclosed in a cupboard. There were vents but clearly this was not adequate ventilation- Very limited cutlery/crockery. I believe there was 2 cups and 1 teaspoon. I understand there are no kitchen facilities but perhaps it would be nice to have cutlery and crockery for people who bring food with them.- No dining table
