Avoca Beach Rockpool
My 10y.o. Son's favourite beach in the area. Has a nice laid back vibe for families with plenty of activities around the corner. Highly recommended to spend a day or two & have fun at the Rockpool, the beach with good waves for body boarding & the lagoon with paddle boarding, kayaking & pedal boats. Not overly pricey either. Nice!

Great rock pool for the kids, it’s such a nice beach to go for a walk, great for surfing my husband loves it and the coffee shop is quite nice

Avoca Beach Rockpool
Great rock pool. As you can see it actually is a real rock pool. Located on the south end of Avoca Beach it is quite protected. It is located right in front of the surf club and the car park. It's a good place to go for a swim if you want to stay out of the waves. Does not get too busy.

Lovely beach for a swim, during the week it's easy enough to park and take our little one for a dip also - however the ease of this is due to a serious lack of cafe variety and only a handful of local shopsVery quiet area, nice for a quick stroll on the beach

A very pretty spot great foe a picnic .As for the rock pool it is aptly named ,it is full of rocks not suitable for swimming .Would not advise you swim in there if you are carrying any injuries as you are likely to slipSurfs great

Great place for the kids to paddle.School holidays so absolutely packed, really hard to find a spot to sit.The bins were overflowing and smelly, but at least they were being used.Car parking also an issue at this time of year, but to be expected.It has grown exponentially since I was a young teenager!

A beautiful part of the world but the rock pool middle has too many sharp rocks to splash around in comfortably, fine if you stick to the edges.

Avoca beach has small rock poll . Lots of small fish in that poll . Good for kids to play and enjoy the day.Beach waves are very rough better to follow rescuers instructions and swim only between flags.Blue bottles are found in this beach and immediate help is provided if stung.Surf rescuers team are always on patrol in this beach .
