Gerald is highly professional, knowledgeable and passionate about his work, which shines through. I really like how kind, empathic and connected he is with people and how effectively he communicates with his clients. I highly recommend Gerald’s shiatsu therapy sessions to others, as he knows what he is doing, whilst using a client-centred approach. I’ve recently received a number of shiatsu and SCENAR treatment sessions from Gerald and I certainly hope to book more frequent sessions with Gerald in future, as I am soon moving to Melbourne, Bellfied area. Gerald is lovely, attentive to his client’s needs and simply amazing, he deserves to receive ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Been getting massages for years, and whilst they have been beneficial at times, the benefits have always been temporary. I’ve been going to Sunbear Shiatsu for about 6 months and the treatment I’ve received has been astounding. Gerald has an incredible intuition which he applies, the adjustments he gives have made a significant impact on my physical and energetic bodies, and I cannot be happier with the service. Added to this, Gerald plays the best chill-ambient music which puts me in such a relaxed and restorative state, it just makes me happy. Highly recommended, 5-stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Shiatsu massage was of a high quality. I found Gerald to be polite, friendly and attentive to your needs. (I hadn’t had a treatment since November 2019 as my therapist retired). After my first treatment with Gerald, I experienced immediate results. I felt much more balanced and noticed the improvement in my posture and movement. I was able to sit in a Yoga position with less pain in my knee. I left feeling floaty and light, as if a weight had been lifted. Gerald is clearly an amazing therapist and I highly recommend him.

I have visited Gerald twice in his Bellfield practice. He gives first class shiatsu, and seems to be a genuinely nice guy as well. I feel like I get his full attention for the entire time, and that in itself is darn hard work to sustain for an hour's time. Specifically, he pays careful attention to what my body is telling him, constantly adjusting his practice to accommodate. This, coupled with his knowledge of shiatsu practice and body functioning makes it so that the work is deep, relaxing and respectful.

My job is physical and I carry a lot of tension in my back and shoulders. Shiatsu is THE BEST massage for unwinding the knots in my back, soothing and relaxing for my body and mind and Sunbear is THE BEST practitioner I have found in Melbourne.
