I recommend Shane from Topnotch K9 because he is extremely knowledgeable in dog training and understanding why a dog has behavioural issues. Shane is helping me with my German Shepard who is very dog aggressive/ reactive. I wasn’t confident handling my dog around other dogs but with Shane’s help I now have her under control. I find he is a great listener, explains things well and encourages me so my confidence is better with my dog. He can also make my dog work like a police dog, it is amazing to see how he can get her to work. Shane is also knowledgeable with preparing a dog for a newborn which is what I’m currently working on with him. I highly recommend you book a session with him

We love Topnotch K9 training, Shane is very understanding and patient with both dogs and humans! Our boy loved him so much and has very much benefited from his training (owners do need to put in time after training sessions to reinforce and solidify behaviours).

Shane has been helping us with obedience and behavioural training for our Groodle Walter whose behaviour and reactivity has dramatically improved since training with Shane. Aside from the easy going legend that Shane is, he has helped us as owners understand the “why’s” and dog psychology (with a couple of epic analogies in between) to help give us the tools and theory to get the best result from our training. We also participated in a Snake Evasion session that was an invaluable experience for us to help keep our inquisitive dog safe. I would absolutely recommend Shane to anyone wanting to better educate themselves and their dog, Shane is brilliant!

I attended the Snake evasion workshop which was hosted by Topnotch and it was wonderful. Shane is a true brains trust and is so willing to share his knowledge.
