Highway Tourist Village

I booked to stay on a ensuite site just last week as I was coming down to Melbourne from Brisbane and after booking and paying I received a email with advice that roads to the park was closed due to flooding. Therefore had to cancel immediately and was charged a cancellation fee of $30. Tried to explain that I was camping and was unaware of the flood effected areas. But still was charged. I feel that if you are unable to get to them they should have had something on their website telling you that or blocked out date so people can't book and have to pay the cancellation fee. VERY UNHAPPY WITH THE SERVICE. other parks I had booked were very obliging and refunded me in full.

The ensuite was well maintained, the site was a good size and overall a nice park. There was a few long term permanent sites mixed in the area. Perhaps some nice trellis to give the long term residents some privacy from the continual turn over of campers.

The lady at the reception is not pleasant, not welcoming and the amenities are really dirty , not a good caravan park to stay even for a night

Nice van park, amenities clean and maintained, pool nice and clean , good sized drive thru sites level park, shady trees throughout, short drive into town, staff friendly, dog friendly, good easy bike riding district.

I stayed at this place quite a few times over the years when I overnighted in Narrabri with a group of friends and the rooms are pretty decent and the locations is really good as well.

Horrible place to stay. Sewerage gurgled all night and sewerage smell. Powerhead went out so no power after paying &35 per nite.Amenities are disgusting. The manager (lady) so rude.

Super happy with service. had to get a refund for some unused booking which was no problems and was refunded the same day.I was just reading some of the other reviews, haha some people seem to be just wingers.

Our 2nd visit in 3years (powered site) Was great to relax in the swimming pool after a very hot day.
