Fantastic service, atmosphere.The internal chalk calligraphy for the beer menu is beyond next level.Oh yes, drinks: For a place with small fridge volume simply because of raw building size there's an incredible range here.Both stocked & on tap.

Excellent selection of a wide range of beers, some quite unusual, very friendly atmosphere, beer nerds welcome as well as causal enthusiasts. Occasional trivia nights are hard though! (But fun!)

A cute little bar that does take away beers. That's an understatement. It might have the widest variety of beers of any bar in Melbourne and the staff are great to chat with to navigate all of them. As a sour drinker I always have something new to try and they have discounts on the take aways. Definitely drop in to get something special the next time you're on your way to a party.

I went there on Saturday with a dear friend after watching another friend's band play at the Pinnacle nearby. Lovely evening. Extraordinary selection of beers (500ml cans) and on tap. Mostly seem to be American craft beers. Simon is a charming host and barkeep. The locals are a salty bunch. And one of them gave us a bowl of dim Sims, out of the blue. Top night out

What an amzing little gem of a place. Wonderful atmosphere and even better beer. I've never had a barman so passionate and thoughtful about selecting the right beer for his patrons. Nice selecttion on tap and a quality cocktail menu too. Cant wait to come back

The Redwood is an unappreciated gem of a small bar, dog friendly and close to Merri Creek, well priced rotating taps with interesting beer picks, always a $10 pint option and great pick and mix takeaway beer deals 4 for 16 or 20 lets you try lots of new beers for standard beer prices.

Redwood Tasting Room
The good people at Redwood know craft beer. Every time I drop in, I either find a tasty drop I remember or learn something new about a beer I haven't met yet. It's a handy stop off on the way to or from somewhere too, being right by the tram stop. Extra handy when you're local, it's just a wander by the Merri Creek bushland to get there.Thanks Redwood. Always a pleasure.
