Chelsea Vet 9639 1200

Called in for my dog. After saying I had been to another vet in the area, the lady on the phone told me to go to them instead and I was just so confused. Why would you turn down new clients like this? Maybe I want to change vets.She was also in a hurry to hang up the phone. Didn't even ask me if there was anything else I needed help with. She didn't say anything and just hung up the phone after I said thank you. I don't understand this method of doing business.It just gave a very rude impression and it makes people not want to visit.I had always seen the bad reviews of this practice on google, but I thought I'd call in myself and see. Maybe they had improved since then. But sadly, I'm not surprised why they have bad reviews now.Please do something about this.

Having recently moved to the area, I was looking at reviews of local vets. If the way this owner responds to negative reviews is any indication of how they run their practice (posting personal information, isn't there some sort of confidentiality rule that applies to vets?), I will be staying far away from this business. Local friends have also had negative experiences here.

Don't go here, save your money & go elsewhere!!!Was charged $45 to have 2 cotton buds put into my dogs ears & then told the price afterwards. Could have done it myself or by another Vet for FREE.Constantly trying to tell you there is something wrong with your pet & when you go elsewhere they'll tell you that your Pet is fine & it's not necessary to keep buying products from this place.They will tell you that your pet will die if you dont buy their products, they're full of crap & are just squeezing you for as much money as they can get.PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE!

This place is disgusting.I took my puppy there for an injection late last year and received a quote for desexing. I called 3 weeks ago to book in desexing and the quote was confirmed.I turned up today to have the desexing done and some woman over the phone tells me that it will cost $200 more than the quote.This was just a blatant attempt to rip off a customer (confirmed because another vet has quoted the same original price for desexing).I called again to get this disgusting woman details and she refused to provide them, she won't even confirm she is a licensed vet.This place shouldn't be allowed to trade, and i wonder how many people they have been able to rip off with their appalling behaviour.

In response to the owner, who gave a very strange reply to my one star rating...I think you are confused (or purposefully lying), I have never worked at Chelsea Veterinary Hospital, I am however a former customer who visited on numerous occasions with my dog and had a bad experience each time. Here is a copy of the response I received from the owner of this practice, just in case it is deleted: Hi Katerina You have worked here for a month and if you have any grievances please let us know. do not bite the finger that fed you.""

The receptionist is Incredibly rude, I’ve been hung up on twice trying to understand what she’s saying. Tried to charge me $240 when the price is $150 and when I corrected her she accepted it and went ahead, I’m unsure if they know their own prices? Told me to go somewhere else and I said I’m unable so she’s put me on a “waiting list” and hung up immediately. It’s probably not a bad place but she is the worst I’ve encountered in terms of a receptionist. There is a language barrier and she is not considerate of that at all.

Do not take your dog here. I have been going to them since I moved from Queensland. The new owners do not care. My dog became very sick and I had no car to get her to the vets. When I rang to ask if the vet could come to my house, I was told that they would have to check and they would ring me back. Thirty minutes later and no call back, so I rang again, and was told by the vet I can't come

Highly recommended Chelsea Vet. I go to cheeky pups puppy school here and I met Steven who helped me with my puppy who has cherry eye. The surgery was affirdable and $300 cheaper than qoutes I had previously got. When I took Lily in, he reassured me that she was going to be okay. They called me multiple times throughout the day to fill me in on how she was, which helped assure me. When I picked my puppy up, she was so happy acting like she never had surgery. Steven called me again in the morning to see how she went over night. Chelsea vet really care and I have never had such a positive experience at a vet before. Not to sure what these reviews are about because they are affordable, they really do care and my puppy is so happy. Thank you Chelsea vet!

Far more interested in your Wallet than your Pet. Took my cat there spent more time billing me and charging my Credit card than looking at my pet said fine pick up in the morning when we were about to leave they rang and said it died in the night? Want you pet killed then take it here. These people should be closed down total disgrace.

I have been volunteering at Chelsea vet for about 6 months and I am more than happy here also this vet has been my vet for around 15 years .I find the service they provide is professional and at a more than fair price.the vet is available 6 days a week and is a genuine and caring person and has a good knowledge of all animals ,i have tried a couple of other vets and have not been happy with the servicei can't imagine going anywhere else my dog loves coming herei have also recommended chelsea to quite a few of my friends who are also happy
