Always fantastic whenever visiting Flinders Island. Clean accommodation and great service. Nothing is ever a problem when your running on island time.

Such a beautiful location. The owners have a great view off the balcony, the restaurant and the actual bar through to the ocean view. The hours for lunch and dinner are tight, so I recommend you check times and plan being there. We arrived 20-minutes after lunch so missed out. The menu choice is good and what we saw other people having is very fresh. The bar area is really clean, great size pool table, music and TV.

Great views from the deck, good atmosphere in the bar, had a very nice scotch fillet steak with peppercorn sauce for dinner followed up with an apple and raspberry crumble. The rest of the meals around the table looked good, very generous serving size.

used to be our favourite pub on the island but this trip left us cold.atmosphere in bar nothing special service was very ordinary.How many times can one person check with chef to see if available there was only 10 things on the menu and 3 unavailable.The final straw was pizza night monday night had been warned by locals pizzas were overdone well that had to be an understatement burnt black on the bottom bases thin and crispy.The seafood was prawns and scallops not a lot of flavour or toppings.BBQ meatlovers marginally better but also burnt.Brownie points for little cheese but edges were as hard as a rock with no toppings.Not a cheap experience either.

The place has a nice view and the staff are friendly. As one of the few restaurants on the island, booking is a must, but the staff are very accommodating. I had the crumbed scallops and they were fresh and nice along with the potato salad.

Food was great but served without a smile. We know there are staff shortages everywhere but if you are open for business then you need to project a positive outlook. It is hard to give positive feedback when you are not made to feel welcome as a guest.

The scallops were small but fresh and the batter was amazing. Would be amazing if the tartar sauce was home made.
