Looksmart Alterations

A button up shirt of mine had ripped a day prior in the wash, i brought my garment in the next day and though i was informed it was more of a stopgap measure than a permanent repair, my shirt was immediately repaired without charge!

Amazing service and quality workmanship at Rouse Hill TC store. I needed my daughter's dress altered and the young woman pinned it exactly how she wanted it to fit. Extremely attentive level of service, highly professional and quick turnaround time too. Brilliant tailor as the work was quite fiddly with multiple top folds . Thank you.

My husband's leather motorcycle jacket had a worn patch that had become a hole. I had previously taken a leather vest to Looksmart at Rouse Hill, and had been very pleased with the result, so I went back. The worn leather patch was successfully replaced, and looks absolutely great. Thanks again for all your expertise and sewing skills!

Easy job stuffed up. Then charged again instead of refund. They offered to fix it but not wanting them to touch them agai n. Thought my brand new jeans would get ruined again. So unhappy.

TLDR; incompetent and expensive. Look elsewhere.I went here for repair, I asked if they could do it a certain way... They said no we can't do that because they have standards to keep. I was impressed with the attitude. They said come back in two days. I gave them four... not ready. Came back the next day.The quality was terrible. The seams were uneven, the stitching was loose. I asked can they fix it. They said it will take two more days. Come back, still terrible in different ways and now notice it is even more uneven and there are folded fabric where there shouldn't be... They say the material stretched, but didn't think to cut it. I Asked for it to be fixed again...Came back a third time. Stitching is now incomplete, practically how it was when I came in initially.By this time I just want to leave and get it done somewhere else. The guy who was in the back can see I'm upset and before I leave he asks if there's a problem. I show him and he goes in back and does a 30 second stitch.I look at it and I now have three wonky stitches where there should only be a single stitch (It's designed like that).I just had enough, paid and left. Their so called standards are shocking. I had to undo all their stitching and asked my mum do it (I hated having to bother her with this) and she instantly knew to cut the stretched fabric so there were no folds and then did a single straight stitch. Perfect and done in about 15 mins.With these people, multiple trips and they had it for nearly two weeks and still couldn't get it right.

Amazing! Speedy service with very reasonable pricing.I took my husbands pants in for a hem fix, expecting to leave them and pick up later. To my delight, the pants were ready by the time it took to print my receipt!The lady who served me was lovely, polite and very helpful.I highly recommend this friendly local service provider and definitely will use them again.

Got a hole fixed in my suit jacket. Customer service was good. Hole was repaired as expected and was cheap. Would recommend going again.

I heard quite positive things from my family and friends about this place. I took my 21st dress to get a couple alterations. At first they were friendly and listened to what I requested. When I picked it up a few days later only one of the alterations were completed. I only realised this because I kept getting poked by the pins that were still in place for my hem that they didn’t even sew up. Obviously I took it back and told them I needed it by Friday as I needed the dress latest Saturday. When one of my family members went to pick it up they said it wasn’t ready even though I specifically asked for it to be ready by latest Friday. Really not happy with how unorganised this place is. Will not be returning.

I purchased a new tux and the business I purchased the tux from said they organised to have the alterations done by ‘Looksmart Alterations Rouse Hill’ no later than 10am Sat 15th April. I made it clear i needed it done on time as I needed it for a wedding on the same day. Today i came to pick it up at 11am (so I gave them 1 hour extra and when I went in they hadn’t even started working on it). I am absolutely gob smacked. They told me they’d do it now but I had to wait an hour (which made me late for the wedding). Extremely unreliable and totally unacceptable. I asked for compensation and they refused. I was charged $100 for alterations with not even a $1 discount despite their HUGE screw up. I would never use them again.
