Gold Coast Wax Museum

Scottish lady at the desk was so lovely and older man with all the stories gave a good talk, bless him. Interesting little spot. I loved the mini waxes they were cute, childhood favourites. Thank you and thanks for the icecream voucher.

Definitely not Madam Tussaud's however worth a visit. Mark the guide in the horror section, was knowledgeable and detailed in his descriptions of events.

super informative and i had a great time, although when you enter the chamber of horror it was alittle much , abit scary for a 19 year old but it was informative and interesting.The actual wax musuem was cool tho very interesting. the tour guide was brilliant and sweet and very people friendly which we loved! would recommend if you have a strong gut and some kids may be alittle tortmented. thank you, 10/10

The wax museum sculptures were hit or miss, but it is one of the few places that actually uses wax instead of resin, so I appreciate that for what it is. The torture chamber downstairs was super interesting and dark, teens and older children love it. Great guides too!Note - recommend not to take young kids there, a few from another group were with us and were traumatised…

Great time and LOVE LOVE LOVED the downstairs tour about historic torture devices. Educational and morbid for those who like things that are macarbe in life.The upstairs section, whilst interesting and entertaining, did not have a very accurate representation of the people on display.If you can separate the fact that they didn't look like like who they were supposed to, from the fact that someone actually spent time making a human wax statue with intricate details, then it's a great time. If not, then you're sure to have a laugh at least.

Visited the Museum on holidays, unsure of parking, it's on the main hwy so very busy area. We walked from trams Cavill Ave, 15mins. bus service nearby, prices are up there but ok with a guide for the torture tour Downstairs, allow an hour+ for the whole 2 floors. may not be for little ones.The downstairs exibition shows forms of torture and in custody punishment through the last 500yrs or more, with a commentary by guide, was interesting, sadly no photo's permitted.Upstairs at your leisure with various displays of people of history, icons etc and present day.Interesting as all models are of same size and weight of the person. photo's permitted.

Great local set up. Downstairs is super cool and my 12 year old wasn't scared so most kids wouldn't have an issue with the graphic nature. Would definitely recommend if you have an hour or so to spare. The guys who run it are really friendly and helpful.

If I could give more then 5 stars I would! What an experience. Loved every minute of it. Tour guide was funny, informative and very very good at his job. So glad we visited the wax museum. Never seen anything else like it. Incredible experience
