My partner took me for my birthday dinner to the revamped European Hotel in St Kilda. The food at the more private and intimate Crudino restaurant was exquisite! Our waiter - Alberto , looked after us impeccably and the food rivalled the best in the city. The starter of scallops were cooked perfectly and were a good size. The stuffed quail to die for as was the fish my partner had. The sides also great. Didn’t have dessert as we had birthday cake at home, but patrons raved about the cheesecake. Will definitely be returning and recommending to as many people possible this new gem in St Kilda!

Really really great dinner. We happened upon this place by chance, and we are happy we did! Great, friendly, service and the food was delicious. Calamari was soft and tender, the steak was cooked perfectly and as requested, and the meat balls were delicious and flavoursome. Topped off with a yummy cocktail and a nice glass of wine and we had a nice night. The fondant cake could have been a bit more gooey" but didn't detract from the experience."

6 of us had a beautiful dinner this evening. The staff were very friendly, food was well priced and delicious. The fit out is so good. It’s was perfect to go to a venue a little higher up on Fitzroy St because there was plenty of parking and not as many people around. Highly recommended.

Not a pleasant experience for me sadly. Average food for over the top price. Food served undercooked and sent back to the kitchen and offered an alternative dish rather than my original order be recooked. Steak very average for price charged. If you want a good steak stick to Squires Loft, for quality and value.

Stunning venue, very friendly staff & seriously great food & cocktails. Can highly recommend the lamb shank pie for 2 ppl .. so delicious!

Tastefully styled, superb service and a great location come together at The European situated at the Albert Park end of Fitzroy Street St Kilda. Casual drinks to fine dining it’s a classy and stylish experience that will keep me coming back for more . Definitely in my top five places to head out to in Melbourne.

We had dinner and it was fabulous, service was great and the food was delicious. It is pricey, however quality food. I would love to see some type of chips on the menu. Overall it was great and highly recommend if you want a fancy dinner close to home

Fantastic night in St Kilda. Excellent food, superb service, and great ambience. Staff were friendly - Jess was our waiter in the restaurant and provided a guided tour of the different zones in the premised. Food service was fast and drink were always full. High quality food and I ordered the Morten Bay Bug pasta. Julian was our bar tender in the cocktail room and was also friendly and happy. Extensive wine list for dinner, but we only has beers. Very different from the old Elephant and Wheelbarrow or the Ritz. More up market and suitable for discerning guests. Recommended.
