The Old Empire Cafe
THE BEST toasted sandwiches we've had on our trip. We've been traveling around Australia for 15 weeks and lord knows we love a good toastie, but it was REAL generous portion of off the bone ham, generous cheese and well seasoned tomato made with real butter and roasted fresh and clearly with love and pride. Get one into you!

Had some cakes and thick shakes here and they were thick. Staff member brought cakes and shakes to our table. You can sit outside with your dog.

Grabbed a coffee and breakfast muffin here before hitting the road. Both were delicious and the staff were friendly. I'd rather stop here than those horrible unattended petrol stations (which were both out-of-order when we passed through).

We loved this place. The coffees were fantastic and the chicken wraps - terrific! Very generous on the fillings and the roast chicken was tender and great quality. Good service too. Nice touch when the workers are lovely ☺️
