Contacted Lisa for some flowers for wedding anniversary and she came through with the goods and more

Great little place for gifts and homewares. Staff are always so friendly and are happy to gift wrap items beautifully.

I went to Fresco Flowers on Saturday to get some flowers for my wife, with Sunday being both Mother's Day and her birthday.I looked at what was out for sale first of course, and unfortunately nothing was suitable as they all had Lillies; we have cats and they are extremely toxic. I waited in line to speak to a staff member, and noted that the customers before me had made a custom order right then to be collected later in the day. I made a request for the same and offered flexibility of timing to collect it.Unfortunately, the staff member refused me and very bluntly said that I can only choose from what is available. When I questioned this, she was rude and obnoxious.I grew up in Sandringham and now own a farm in the Yarra Valley. The only reason I can think of being treated differently is that the customers before me were dressed more 'upper class', while I was in my Wandin CFA Fire & Rescue hoodie. Maybe she thought I wasn't worth her time as I wouldn't have the money, or aren't local?Regardless, I received the polar opposite service from my normal flower shop here - they stayed open late for me to be able to collect the flowers and made a beautiful bouquet.While I understand that it was a busy day, it's no excuse to behave in that manner.

Purchased a floor covering from there but didn't live up to the sales pitch of being non slip. The not so pleasant shop assistant only offered a credit not when returned the next day. Caveat emptor.
