Boulder Lab

So amazing! Unique problems and friendly staff. So spread out with challenging difficulties and a joker grade (10) to test your ability without doubting yourself. Had a great time on opening day, 10/10 would go again.

Fantastic place! Big and spacious with plenty of bouldering problems of any sort of grade, from super easy, to medium level, to hard. Gym access upstairs. Super friendly staff. Very dog friendly! What else can you ask for? :)

Great climbing place, friendly staff. Really enjoy the variety between Clayton and Ferntree Gully. Love the middle section as well.

The problems were really creative and they had a good balance of easy and hard problems to try out. The holds are really nice on the hands and I was able to climb until my body was sore not until my hands were shredded. The staff were lovely and really helpful and last of all you could order hot drinks and they would be served in mugs to wherever you were climbing in the gym which is so freakin awesome. I would 100% come back there and climb.Update: boulder lab is now my regular climbing gym of 5 months and they have just added these awesome industrial fans ontop of their cooling system so it is really hard to overheat. I would change my star rating to a 6 if that was ok.The staff are so friendly and recognise you if your a regular and are full of fun and positive energy and loads of climbing tips!

Great bouldering gym. Climbs here are varied and well set. Always able to find some fun, technical moves that leave you super satisfied when completed. Nice and clean place too with super friendly staff

Nice and spacious. Very cool and helpful staff, most of whom seem to be passionate about climbing and happy to share their knowledge and help.Some of them claim to be excellent baristas too! Have to try a coffee on my next visit.Very chill vibe amongst the climbing customers too. Respectful and focused.

Great gym, friendly staff.Limited parking, but easy to find.Great hours, opens early, closes late.Dog friendly is always good.12+ age limit is good so you don't land on kids running around.Aircon, the best.This gym is quite small but surprisingly jam packed with heaps boulders. Regular setting means there's always new climbs to work on.It can get uncomfortably busy there on weekends being a small gym with not a lot of floor space.Unfortunately the concept wall was never finished (missing holds) making it pretty much useless.Upstairs training gym is pretty good, (enough space for 4 people at once and 5+ in the yoga area) just needs a couple of fans.

Definitely my favourite BoulderLab branch thus far. It's huge and has a great variety of climbs. I have to say, the route setting here is one of the best I've seen, though I've only been to 10 other gyms and am but a humble V4-5 climber, but I love their route setting.
