Disembarking from a Cruise at Station Pier was very easy. Embarking was great too, we were driven right up to the baggage area and straight onto the ship. 15mins from drop off to cold drinks by the pool.Love cruising out of Melbourne.

Shame on you melbourne… princess n P&O shouldn’t be using the port until they can make a sheltered area for awaiting passengers. Go to Brisbane what they did in the covid period while u were only grizzly about covid. Nothing but simply shame on you on the PM MP and councillors

Good loading facilities but convoluted entrance and noise restrictions that reduce ship experiences. Much less enjoyable than the Overseas Terminal.

Pray it does not rain. It is a long uncovered walk from the front gate to the actual terminal, about 200 metres. It does not compare with Sydney at all. There are no shops inside the terminal. There are two cafes outside beside the roundabout. It is walking distance to the tram stop.

Station Pier is a berth for visiting cruise ships and the terminus for the regular boat and passenger ferry to Tasmania. For the Cruise ships it's a customs clearing area a bit like an airport. Apart from that it's a popular tourist destination in itself as well as for fishing in Port Philip Bay off the end of the pier. The pier is generally open to the public but is regularly closed when cruise ships are in. The surrounding area has lots of cafes and restaurants where you can be refreshed with views of the bay and passers-by on the Bay Trail which goes right through the precinct. The Beacon Hill tram terminus is just across the road, which regularly leaves for the city and all the way to Box Hill. Public toilets can be found at the back of the tram terminus as part of the old railway station building. Parking is very difficult on sunny days, especially on weekends and is metered and patrolled at $4.00 per hour and time limited. You can park for free further away from Station Pier area in the back streets, a short walk away. Pay attention to the parking limit and Permit only signs or you will almost certainly get a ticket!

Berth for visiting cruise ships to Melbourne. Has historic building structures. Station Pier is a historic Australian pier on Port Phillip, in Port Melbourne, Victoria. Opened in 1854, the pier is Melbourne's primary passenger terminal, servicing interstate ferries and cruise ships, and is listed on the Victorian Heritage Register

A well placed domestic & international shipping terminal & obviously not far from the CBD but take care to avoid peak hour traffic if you are driving or commuting.Always plenty of variable weather too.

An awesomely placed cruise terminal. Nearby to the Melbourne CBD for a quick tour of the city if you are travelling. Has many amazing cruises stopping here. A wonderful view for the daily walkers too.
