Many Hands Winery

After an exhausting activity, we were hungry for anything! I thought the pizza was fairly decent though the crust is a little on the thicker end. A member of our group had a base that was quite a bit more burnt than the rest of us so she didn't finish it completely. It definitely feels on the heavier side due to the amount of dough as well. We came in just for the pizza as a quick meal, but the general vibe or expectation is to have a main, a drink, and a dessert. Customer service was fine but there was a bit of a wait to pay for the meal (not sure if it's just the one person who can put it through?) Good check in process for covid, though. We were also a walk in and they were able to sit us quickly.

We left booking lunch at winery too close to the date, so somehow ended up here that isnt fully booked, and they dont have set menu which is what I prefer for just casual lunch. The place is pretty with big glass windows where you can see rows of vines. Inside is nice enough but still casual, not very formal. They have the pizza oven inside which is a nice sight. Staff are very friendly and easy going. Tried their antipasti platter that says for 2-4 people but to be honest it was more for 2 people, really. I like their cheese and pickled cabbage in the platter. Then tried 3 different pizzas: margherita, capriciosa, and Italian sausage. They are quite small size, but dough was quite filling and fluffy. I like the Italian sausage one most because it has plenty of cheese on it. Not the best pizza I have had but generally pretty good. Overall very good meal and paid less than $35 per person. Will come back for another casual lunch

We had lunch here after our micro-wedding a few weeks ago and it was absolutely wonderful. The team were so accommodating for us, even going so far as fixing the wedding cake that broke on the way. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious with very generous portions, the views were amazing and just the most beautiful team of people. Thank you so much for making our day that much more special!

Tony and Jenny are amazing hosts that have established a beautiful little unassuming spot in the heart of the Yarra valley. I’ve been to Many hands twice now. Once with my girlfriends last year (we sat on the balcony and had a lovely relaxing afternoon), and I’ve just recently been again with my family for my birthday. The food and wine did not disappoint on either occasion (no easy feat for someone who is gluten and dairy free). Even my fussy toddler loves the gluten free pizza and Tony’s special tomato pasta sauce! For the adults I highly recommend the 2018 Chardonnay and the garlic prawns (and the gluten free pizza). Amazing!!! Love this place. We will be back!

I organized to visit Many hands winery for lunch and wine tasting on Sunday with 4 of my girlfriends. We were greeted warmly by the staff and informed that we should order our food before starting our wine tasting as it meant our food would be ready shortly after our tasting. The wine tasting was informative and fun and we learnt about the vines and their origins.The food was delicious and the portions very generous. We shared the antipasto platter between us and all ordered our mains. As soon as I saw the gnocchi I had food envy. However the marinara was wonderful with a large amount of seafood. Not your usual supermarket mix. Then we ordered a selection of desserts. I highly recommend the tiramisu and Nutella pizza. We ordered many bottles during our lunch and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. We also well and truly stayed longer than the 2 hours allocated and not once did the staff mind.After reading the negative reviews I was worried about bringing my friends here, but our experience was brilliant, so much that I am booking again in 2 weeks for a Xmas lunch with family. Thank you to all the staff who made us feel welcome.

Stopped off here for lunch on an unplanned stop. Sat out on the deck, great place, amazing food, great wood fired pizza,and wine.Staff extremely friendly. Served by the owner Jenny, who was a fantastic host.

They should have a better booking system. We arrived around 2:00pm asking for a table. There were plenty of nice tables in the main room but they told us they were reserved and gave us an empty table in the middle of the room. Our table was not made for lunch so we have to ask for plates, serviettes etc. We finished our lunch 3ish and there reserved tables were still empty. Food is acceptable. The staff are nice but lack of experience.

Great wine tasting! Amazing wood fired pizza! Super friendly owner and staff! Amazing ambience for a boutique winery! Will definitely be back next time!

This gem in the Yarra Valley has fabulous food without the usual fixed/set price menu. The staff and their service are exemplary - keen to ensure that clients are comfortable and well cared for.
