NRMA Capricorn Yeppoon Holiday Park

We had a powered slab site and the service we received was first class. We were worried about being under trees having had a bad experience and when we arrived Broneka in Reception was awesome. She gave us several sites to choose and even told us to call her when we found the one we wanted rather come back to Reception excellent customer service. The Park has new Managers Barry and Chris and they are doing a fantastic job. We will be back.

It's a very clean park and has lots of space. Even during school holidays it wasn't crammed full. They offer movies and popcorn at night and have necessities and treats in the office to save going out. Food vans most nights and restaurants/ cafes not far back in town. Plenty of showers and toilets in the amenities block and kept clean. Bike path runs all the way to town so no need to ride on the road. Location is close to the beach but it's a dark sand beach so not quite as appealing as others. Close proximity to the ferry over to Great Keppel. Large kids play area as well as 2 pools.

The park in general is clean and well set out. I do believe the park is lacking the basics though. They have a policy around noise curfew 10pm, it’s currently 1am and there are people in the park partying. It’s ok to have these policy’s but no one can be seen in the park checking. They don’t seem to have the basic processes in place. We also ordered from the “mermaid” van, the concept was great. Yet the basic friendleness of the staff was what let that down. She clearly didn’t want to be there. Movie night was great - the concept again great yet the projector was washed out and lines through movie which made it unbearable to watch and many family’s left not long after it started.

The NRMA Capricorn Caravan Resort was extremely clean and Staff Friendly, we stayed for a few nights on grass site. Very affordable at $20.00 a night. I highly recommend. Would have stayed longer but not enough time.

Great value for money. We had a camper trailer and our site was large and shady, which was a relief in the very hot weather we had. Good activities for the kids, though the pools were quite small for the size of the park (we found the Yeppoon lagoon to be an amazing alternative - about 12 kms away). Outdoor cinema was a hit! Amenities very clean and modern. Staff all very friendly and the kiosk at reception was handy for essentials.

We stayed at a powered site. Very clean and modern amenities, site was shaded and clean, movie nights and jumping pillow were great. Would definitely stay again.

Absolutely beautiful caravan park! All the facilities were super clean. Lots of activities for kids. Wished we were staying longer!

Lovely large park with heaps of room and accommodation options. Great amenities and quiet for the size. Would recommend.

Love this place! Camped first night then studio cabin second night due to weather. Excellent facilities, service, ambiance. Stainless steel cookware instead of terrible Teflon! Thanks for a great stay!!
