CGU Insurance

When cancelling a policy, CGU have no regard for personal circumstances. They won't allow you to backdate the cancellation date of a policy unless you sell the property. I asked if a manger could be consulted in relation to this request as the phone operator seemed unsure of the answer and was told the manager said it was not an ability.After many years of having insurance policies and cancelling for different reasons, this is the first time I have ever been told it is not possible to backdate a cancellation date and that I will be charged up to today's date. I was only asking for it to be backdated a week, one wouldn't think this is too much to ask.Very disappointed, I will never give CGU my business again.
