One of the worst INDIAN restaurants in Brisbane. They are part of Saffron GC which is big red flag. They cant make authentic naans. Can you believe, they add egg to the naans. We bought Daal Makhani and Vehetarian Malaika Kofta. Daal Makhani portion was so small we hardly had one spoon for 4. All main dishes were not tasty at all.Sweet potato cutlet starter was just rubbish.Over experience with good was worst. Service was ok but they have no remorse of their food quality and quantity. If I knew Vasu was part of Saffron I wouldn't have stepped inside.

Wonderful Indian restaurant. The atmosphere and setting of the restaurant is lovely and all the staff are very friendly. The food was very delicious and full of flavour.

I ordered chicken korma, lamb madras and the cheese and spinach naan - all were delicious. We got takeaway this time, but will definitely be coming for a dine in meal next time as I was vey impressed with the modern, but also warm and welcoming décor/atmosphere of the restaurant. They have decorated the place very well and it makes for a really nice place to have a meal. The service was great and the food came out quickly.

Pretty ordinary haven't found a good indian restaurant in Brisbane yet that comes near the quality of Charter's Towers Heera Indian.

Food is tasty but service is absolutely terrible. Have tried 3 times and every time wait was very long. One more try and waited over 1 hour for an online takeaway order to get home and have missing items. When called the restaurant, the staff member laughed and said they realised 5 minutes after I left. Shame service is awful as I wont be ordering anymore.

When we went it was with filled with screaming children who were banging cutlery and crawling under the tables and onto our laps. The food was really good though they were definitely understaffed and it took a very long time even just to get drinks. It’s unfortunate that our valentines day dinner was completely ruined by people who wouldn’t stop their children from disrupting others.

Finally found a place where I can get something authentic. Food was exceptionally delicious, everything tasted so fresh. After trying many Indian restaurants in the neighbourhood this is one of the best serving good quality food.

Was recommended by a good friend. We weren’t disappointed. The place looks very simple from the outside but don’t let that fool you. Food was excellent. Hot, fresh and tasty just like back home in India. Service was also smooth and with a smile.

Don't bother getting takeaway here. There are much quicker takeaway options in Rochedale. We ordered online at 5:45pm and the website said pick-up for 7:05pm. We thought that was a huge wait, but had no choice as it was already paid for. Arrived at 7:05pm to be told it will be another 10 minutes as they are busy. The restaurant had only a couple of groups dining in. Eventually got the food 20 minutes later. Let's hope it tastes bloody good.

At time of purchase, Vasu had only been open just over a week (if memory serves). Still very early days so even though my overall rating is average, we'll try them again.Firstly - very happy to have an Indian restaurant open at Rochedale Village. Compliments the other options well.We had a butter chicken, a garlic naan, keema naan, raita and saffron rice. Not the tastiest butter chicken we've had but not bad by any means. Nice texture to it. The naans were very good; reasonable size and the keema naan had great filling. Raita was one of the better ones I've had too.Meals were a tiny bit more expensive than other Indian restaurants around. Only by one or two dollars here and there but it adds up. If I were rating by food quality alone I would have given four stars, but usually a four star overall rating for me is a place I'm generally really happy with.I didn't experience a delayed order like a few other reviews at time of writing. Only took 15 mins and they called us when our takeaway order was ready, which was a really nice touch, albeit on a quiet Monday evening.
