The Flying Nun Cafe
Great destination for a family of Harry Potter readers or anyone that wants a good quality meal.Flavourful and Great mains and coffee. We didn’t have any desert but they looked good5StarCHIPSEach seating room is unique with comfortable quality architecture.4 stars due to the fact that one main needed to go back to the kitchen. They redid the main, refunded it and it was very tasty the second time.Menu is diverse, and has the basics. It is nice to know that Great customer is handled with out a hassle. That is all that you can ask for!

Funky cafe on a deck surrounded by trees with a small indoor area in an unusual building. Quick service . We love that they have table service and the ability to order on your phone if you want to . Food was standard pricing and tasted great . Good variety on the menu although tended towards brunch type food or burgers but that’s very appropriate for the area .

Unfortunately this was a terrible experience yesterday for breakfast (12/2) I’m not sure if the normal/regular Chef was away but the pancakes were so underwhelming, soggy and not as the menu description. Over priced $19 for 3 flat oily pancakes is a bloody rip off. The iced coffee was warm … like the milk had been sitting out with no ice in it at all. $8 is crazy for a cup ofMilk. I feel so ripped off as it’s not cheap to eat out for Brekky … will definitely not be back. So disappointed ☹️ Eggs Benny…. Meh so so - girls serving were good though!

I came here last week with my partner and ordered the chicken waffles. They were delicious! So delicious that I even came back again by myself this week to have more ;)

Great place with a lovely atmosphere. We ordered pan-fried salmon and smashed avo with feta, loved it all. Staff was super friendly and the place has a unique tropical vibe sitting outside.Coffee was top notch too, definitely coming back.

Nice quiet cafe off the main street. The service, food and surroundings are always good. Street parking available. Disability access is quite good. Book ahead for a table.

All 3 meals were cold. Eggs Benedict, egg whites were still liquid. Buns/ Turkish bread not toasted. Tomato on burger had two spots of mold.No one came near us to see if we were happy with our meals.

Food: 3.50/5 Atmosphere: 3.75/5 Service: 4/5 Overall : 3.75/5(rounded off to 4)Food: Ordered the southern chicken waffles, chocolate cake and sweet potato fried. After ordering the waffles, I started reading the mixed reviews online about it, but decided to stick with my choice as I'd either be agreeing or disagreeing with them. I found the chicken really tasty. The portion size might have been on the slightly small side of the scale, but seemed to be larger than some of the ones pictured in other reviews. The little bits of green leaves on the side was a bit meh, but I guess added colour to the plate. Price wise it was ok, but given the ongoing dramas with food supply and increase in cost of living, I think it's about right. The chocolate cake was nice and big and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed it with a side of cream. The sweet potato chips were good and nicely salted.Atmosphere: We seated inside, surrounded by the large stained glass panels. It felt like eating in a nice cottage home.Service: The people who served us were nice, polite and helpful.
