Cut Price Skips

Professional service, skip delivered on time, full 7 day hire (not picked up early like some companies used before). Couldn't have been more satisfied with service. Recommend Cut Price Skips for everyone.

Cut price skips comes across being a rip off company from my experience.I rented a skip for a week to be picked up on the 5th of Jan. They arrived to pick up the 4th of Jan. One month and 3 days later, they call to say the skip was overweight and I would have to pay an additional fee which I agreed to pay even though I have no proof that the skip was overweight and had been emptied A MONTH earlier. An email was sent a week ago for the additional fee and today another email was sent with a tacked on late fee which was never mentioned in the original email or the phone call. I think there is a bit of a scam going on here. I would not recommend them to anyone and I won't be using them ever again.

I've had several different skips from these guys and they've been great. A little unreliable sometimes on delivery times but nothing that couldn't be managed. Always cheaper than their competitors. I'll keep using them for my waste bins.

great service over many years

I cannot rate them highly enough. It was imperative the skip arrived prior to builders were arriving. They had the skip there 30 mins prior. We were impressed with the skill set of the driver who placed the skip exactly where we wanted it up a hill. Nothing was damaged because of his meticulous attention to detail. The office was also very courteous and nothing was too much for them. All in all, a fantastic service. We intend to use them again for the next stage of our clean-up,p. Highly recommended.

Skip was left to block our driveway for over 3 weeks when CPS failed to pick up per agreed terms of 7 days. Assurances of pickup were not kept and numerous calls not returned.4 months later we are charged for overweight fees AND late fees despite no notification. CPS have been forwarding invoices to an incorrect email address despite being advised of an updated email address at the time of hire.Incompetent admin practices and rude phone manner after their own paperwork errors and inconveniences caused to customers. No apology offered for any of these blunders. Never again.

DO NOT USE!!!These guys offered 300kg weight on a 2m cubic skip (a lot less than others offer), but cheap and enough for my needs.But no, they informed me I was over by double that amount and charged me accordingly. There was no way on Earth I was over by that much!The truck already had a skip on board when it came to collect, so I'd say I was charged for both weights (perhaps accidentally).But that doesn't happen, they weigh them individually, so they say.OK.Funny, the time the guy was here and left, compared to the time on the weigh station receipt means he'd have to have been on a jet powered motorcycle to get back, unload two skips and reload mine to weigh it correctly in that space of time.Also, they were meant to pick up on the Friday. They were a no show.I had someone booked to come in with a bobcat on Saturday morning. Had to put him off (costing me $$$), and ring them to come and get their skip ASAP Sat morning.They don't even care, just excuses.Won't be using these guys again.This is why they are cheap, they'll hit you with charges a week later and they aren't interested in listening.Watch out anyone else considering them!

They are a scam! No skip I have hired from them hasn’t come back over weight even when only half full.Stay well away from them.

Wow wish I read the reviews before using this company. Definitely keep away from this business. They not only delivered the wrong size bin, they delivered a larger size bin and asked me to measure what I put in it, and not use the whole skip bin. Then charged me an extra fee. I know people who own companies of their own and this customer service is horrible. People using skip bins can be in hard or stressful situations, so some compassion and professionalism would go along way. Will not be using again and will be passing on the info to many friends and family who use skip bins too!

Absolutely rip off. We got a skip based on their descriptions on their website and we paid what we were asked to pay when the skip was dropped. But after the skip was collected we were hit with a huge amount as we apparently exceed the weight limit of the skip we hired. When we questioned this they just sent us the invoice. We should’ve got the weight limit information and its price system beforehand, but we didn’t. The lady on the phone was extremely rude and just told us to pay. We’re going to dispute and not going to pay. I wouldn't recommend them at all.
