Thank you Austral Pools for being one of the most honest and trustworthy traders around I have an Environ EQ system fitted to my pool and when it started playing up and would not work just one phone call to you guys and you sent someone out to deal with it. Not only did you honor the warranty on the system without any fuss or bother, but your service trades person was on time courteous and checked other components while he was there. Great service so good to see in this day and age keep it up.

I walked in there just for some simple info I knew it was trade only and didn't ask to buy anything I just wanted to know a local pool shop that stocked spare parts for an astral sand filter I bought the guy at the tradbcountwr asked me which pool guy I used so I told him. He said he has an account you can get him to call us to arrange what is needed when I proceeded to do so the guy said I'm going to have to ask you to leave. Protect the industry buy all means but reber I bought your product have some respect which I did for you when I walked in I just wanted some info not you bank details as a state manager of a wholesale buisness I would of sacked you on the spot disgusting service and manners I'll never buy an astral product again and believe me you've got plenty of competition

When the warranty period is over, off top the dealer network with you.Components that fail frequently are VERY expensive. Its the old story. If you were to buy the parts you need, it would cost you far more than a new one....Automatic chemical management of your pool is not really very automatic. Its also quite expensive in replacement parts.

Faulty Design and Poor QualityAustral CL400I had the whole unit replaced under warranty when first installed then the replacement item was just as troublesome.It was hard to open, clean and constantly leaked.Eight years later the lid failed due to poor design and thin weak plastic.I had it professionally plastic welded and then it split and exploded on the opposite side.A new replacement lid is $400 AU which is too expensive for its poor quality.I've given up after rude poor customer service and have bought a sand filter instead from another company.

Firstly, the one star is only for customer service not the products. On 3 separate occasions now I have phoned Astral Pools customer service in the hope of receiving support to set up the chlorinator and pool pump. All 3 times I got nowhere! The staff seem to never let you speak and talk over you. When prompted with technical queries, they refer you to a manual or someone else. What kind of company manufacturers a product that is complex to begin with, and doesn't know or support their products with the information necessary to assist their customers to set them up correctly? May I suggest that staff receive training on communication and technical know-how. It's not up to others to do your work for you. You the manufacturer have the responsibility of providing technical support for your products. I'm beyond disappointed. I've called numerous pool shops and even they don't know how to set up some of the products. Woeful.

went from great to worst. We purchase a pool pump cover for $1,500 from Austral pools. However it doesn't fit - as our pump is to close to the wall. When we ask if its possible to return - the owner very dryly stated NO. $1,500 and no pool pump cover. I wouldn't purchase from this person again.
