I sent my non-functioning Leica to Jörg at European Camera Service for a full CLA service and the camera came back working perfectly. Jörg was great to deal with, realistic with his quote and the camera is still butter smooth several months and 30-40 rolls of film later. Wouldn't hesitate to use his services again.

After receiving my Leica M6 back from repair, it has never been in such pristine condition since I've owned it. Jorg, was very informative in exactly what necesary repairs were required. He is a specialised technician who understands these German cameras with a greater accuracy than any other repairer I've tried. He even repainted the numbers on the dials and restored the leather, on top of a complete scrutiny of the mechanical systems inside. Would definetly recommend to all Leica analogue owners.

I had my M2 rebuilt by a reputable Japanese located firm. It took 3 months and repairs charged in USD. My M4 needed first ever complete service and Jorg kindly accepted the brief. The event took about 3 weeks from mail send to receive. The returned camera is a dream to use - far better than I might have dared expect. Quiet, smooth, and simply delightful. How fortunate we are to have an analogue Leica trained/qualified repair expert based in Melbourne. Jorg’s service and work ethic is beyond query, and his customer care is consultative, patient and professional. I really feel lucky. Thanks

I highly recommend this service. Jorg was so friendly and helpful, with no obligation and no push - I didn’t really know what I needed, so we discussed options, I sent the camera and he gave me a selection of solutions - again, no obligation to proceed until I was happy.The camera came back as quick as COVID would allow - how smooth and crisp is this camera now! It went away beater and is now a well worn jewel, fully functional and a pleasure to use.Value for money...? Exceptional.But the guy loves his cameras, tales pride in his work and makes the whole process stress free (we do love our Leicas).
