Not a bad Woolworths, it's kinda out of the way from the main shopping strip but not too busy as a result. They seem to have most things in stock. A decent amount of self-serve registers, with not many regular registers.

Total Choas!! :)It all feels a bit chaotic in the store for me. It's in a very old and cramped building. The lightening in store is also very poor in the evenings. It's really rundown. It has an every man for themselves feel. Which makes it more exciting I guess! Staff were doing shelving or chatting at the self check outs. Ideally Woolworths should build a nice new store. I'm sure they have enough money to do that as they made 45 billion(!) in revenue in 2022.PS.The guy at the self check outs was too busy trying to impress a girl. He really should have been managing the queue. lol.

As if supermarket prices are not high enough this Metro store takes the cake. This week as I write the review 250 gram strawberry punnet in Glenhuntly store goes for $2 and in this rip off joint $2.90!!! and I can give plenty more examples.I was a shopper for over 20 years but shall not set foot in there again.A place for people with more money than brain.

It's hard to find a park. The range is good. In particular I love the Paesanella buffalo mozzarella, the extensive yogurt range plus the iced coffees. There is an Excellent VEGAN range too.The service is generally good too with friendly staff.

Hate that this is my closest supermarket because it’s hardly a supermarket. No in-store deli, but has a sushi shop. Who are they surveying to think that this was a good move. It’s a bit of a catfish supermarket really, as it’s a “metro” Woolies, yet the signage is non existent on the outside

What happened Woolworths? I appreciate you may be making some store improvements but to even open in this mess is not on.

Having lived in the area for 12 years this woolies WAS the community supermarket...no longer! Whoever decided to make this a Metro store clearly didn't do their homework on the demographic! This was always where one could shop for homebrand alternates and forridge amongst Thursday afternoon produce reductions. Most of the staff we knew and loved have been moved on to other stores like checker pieces.I wonder where dear Robert ended up? ...possibly in the 'no longer needed' list with half the items I can no longer get to feed my family. The shop is surrounded by ordinary people.who live in ordinary houses..not those willing to pay a premium for convenience (those shoppers go to IGA Local as they do stock quality bread and gourmet deli items with a smile). Putting pretty shop fittings in does not justify huge mark-ups on regular items.Busy locals will seek alternates when you can no longer do one shop to get everything. My business is now with Coles Bentleigh....worth the drive for a simple car park, shop and leave with list complete.

Products all over the placeDeli non existentFruit and veg not fully stockedBut it’s the prices… grrrrMetro is more expensive than the Woollies at Spotlight center. That’s crazy!Same owners!Different brand and yet they have Woolworth signs in the store.Self check out is frustratingly slow and the machines are a turn off.Yes staff try hard but it’s NOT a good experience and I’d rather support my local IGA in Carnegie who are awesome and offer exceptional service.Metro … yeh nah!
