Finding a car mechanic is always a hassle to me. An auto electrician is worse, again, for me. Had a couple of issues, with a fuse and the alternator on my Navara, and Leslie's really came through. Dean was awesome, very patient with my OCD questions and happily explained the problems. They fixed what was needed and drew up an itemized quote for the others. Very friendly, quick and efficient imo, and I would highly recommend them. Thanks to Dean, Kate, and all the crew!

A local business suggested I investigate Leslie's Auto Electrical for a quote to install new wiring on my car to accommodate a caravan I'm about to purchase. I live about 2 hours from this business and had already received a quote from a more local service provider.I was immediately impressed with the friendly and welcoming service I received from the ladies in the office. They instinctively found some common ground with me to add to my ease of conversation with them. They took all the information I had to give in order to request a quotation and as I left I felt a great sense of family exuding from the business employees.One of the technicians (Dean) followed up my enquiry and went to great lengths to answer all of my naive and inquisitive questions before providing my detailed quotation.Although I decided not to engage Leslie's Auto Electrical to carry out the quoted work (who were less expensive and had the most wonderful customer service), I want to share the great experience they offered me as a customer.Shopping local is important, especially in small towns, and providing great customer experiences will definitely bring repeat business. I look forward to visiting again.

Great customer service and neat work

During the Sept22 School Holidays we drove up from the Gold Coast to Cairns. We had mapped out our stops and visits. One of our stops was at friends in Townsville. As we arrived our Alternator was smoking like crazy and burnt out. This then drained our battery (RACQ were fantastic with their response). We were lucky it wasn't on one of our long stretches. However, we rang around many places (as we are not from Townsville) to be told they could not help as they were too busy or couldn't do job for 4 weeks. Well this was stressful enough. I finally got onto Matt at Leslie's and he could hear that we were stuck. He managed to look up the part whilst I was on the phone and then said it would take a week to do. I felt relieved. We had the car towed to the shop the next day and continued our journey to Cairns with a friends car. The guys at Leslie had our car on Wednesday and managed to get it fixed by Friday! This was amazing and meant we had our car back to us by the time we started our journey back down the coast. Great service and absolutely would 100% recommend them. Thanks team for helping us out you are awesome!

I recently used Leslie’s auto electrical to get various electricals on my boat fixed. The team was great. The service manager Dean was excellent. Great customer service all round, great quality work, and the price was fair for the work performed, very happy.
