Stayed for 7 days. Great price and amenities were clean. Road noise wasn't bad. Other guests were friendly. Mike was great and gave us fantastic travelling advice of touring up north. I would recommend to others. It is close to the city of mackay with out being in the thick of it. Easy access to hiway up north. Definitely would be back.

The stench from the abattoir is revolting and all consuming ... why a caravan park would be situated in this position is ridiculous. The facilities are below average and we could not see that they have been refurbished, the photos online are not representative of what is there. This is more a workers camp than a caravan park. Lucky we were only there 1 night ... couldn't get away fast enough. Website shows positive reviews ... wish I had read wikicamps reviews before booking/staying here. Absolutely disappointed with this stay and $ paid.

Bed bugs and ants all through the bedsheets. Got changed after a night and was better after that, but the bites lasted for weeks.Cabins aren't very soundproof, and you can feel every movement of the person next door.No reserved parking outside your accommodation for guests, people just randomly park their car outside your door.Wi-Fi may as well be nonexistent, as the signal is so poor.

Reasonable park that they are obviously in the process of improving with some site works in progress. Toilets and showers were clean and well kept. Nice pathway and seating by the creek. However, around sunset, there were mosquitoes. The road noise from the highway also took some getting used to during the night.

Mike is a fantastic guy made me very welcome went out of his way to help me, cant thank him enough.I had to leave due to my father passing away or i would have stayed there.The park is clean, very quiet, the amenities are spotless clean there is a dump point and a huge camp kitchen.I loved my time living there for the few weeks i was there.Nonsense and bad behaviour are not tollerated, thank you Mike for creating a wonderful safe haven for me and everyone to relax and stay as long as they like,with you at the helm the park is welcoming and happy and a credit to your hard work that you put in every day.I will miss this park.Margaret Rapley
