Really enjoyed my visit to Lil' Ray - friendly staff, room for my pram, simple but very tasty food and great coffee. Love a takeaway pre-prepared dinner, too! A local gem.

Super friendly team and are very welcoming of pets! They take my order from the doorway as I have my dog with me, then bring her a cookie whilst I sip my latte. Have a range of ready meals available as well which are delish.

What a gorgeous cafe and caterer tucked away in the back streets of North Blackburn. It’s an immaculate and attractive space here. I looked longingly at the delicious menu items and take away meals, but only got a coffee and muesli slice as I was tied up elsewhere for lunch. The coffee was superb and the healthy slice couldn’t have tasted better. I’ve spent half my life looking for a slice as good as that one. Most places only have things with an excess of sugar. The service was delightful here as well. Friendly, quick and efficient. I had a good chat with the friendly owner. What a great cafe. My new favourite in this area

Cute little cafe with a shaded seating areas out the front and at the back. Rating is due to service. The Barista was warm and friendly, but got a non-welcoming vibe from the person serving/taking orders.I ordered a simple large takeaway latte and a slice of banana bread (not toasted), but ended up getting my order after the two orders that were behind me. My coffee wasn’t even made until I went to check.First impressions count so I won’t be headed back again.

We love Lil’ Ray! Their take home meals are convenient and delicious and I know I’m giving my family healthy and fresh food when need something quick. David and Nathan and all their staff are lovely and the coffee is great. They are also in an excellent location for people with kids as there is a playground just opposite.

We used Lil' Ray for in-house catering for 19 people. Planning and organisation was a breeze and they were accomodating with changes to menu, including vegetarian and dietary requirements. Execution of the event was streamlined, timely and neat and tidy in the kitchen leaving us with minimal cleaning up post function.Would recommend them for any catering service but have also visited their cafe for coffee and the take-away pies are recommended.

Lil Ray has been such a wonderful addition to the local community. The coffee & food is excellent but it is really the service that makes it such a great cafe. Nathan & David have put their heart and soul into Lil Ray and it shows!

Had the bacon and egg on brioche bun today which was really delicious. The cappucino is great too.The lady who served me was very polite and friendly

Do yourself a favour and check out the delicious food and friendly service from this neighbourhood cafe. My first visit today and I will certainly be back! Very impressed also by how much thought has gone into the feel of the space and the styling. Congratulations and can’t wait to try some of the take home meals.

Just home from my first visit - definitely won't be my last! Yummy food, fabulous service, delightful surroundings. The guys coudn't have been friendlier & their bread is absolutely divine. I can't wait to return - I'm afraid they'll soon grow tired of me.
