We bought a house in December 2020 'sight unseen' under Covid restrictions that only allowed a structural inspection. When we first saw the interior, it was clear that we needed more renovations than we had anticipated. We had a target maximum budget in mind. Laura was recommended to us by a friend in the Real Estate industry whom we trusted and she began work for us in January 2021. She was such a wonderful and understanding architect who looked at many permutations and combinations of plans put forward by us. She patiently listened to me, my wife and daughter in the several sessions we had to review the various forms of modifications. She even recommended a builder who patiently put together several versions of costings. It is because of her honest and professional approach that we came to the conclusion by mid 2021 that, at our age (me at 67yo), it was better to cut our losses and sell our property and move on. Fortunately for us, by the time we sold the property exactly one year later in December 2021, the price had increased enough to cover our losses.We give a big thank you to Laura for her patient attendance to all our needs and for her professional approach to advice. Laura at unfold architecture has been amazing! She responds in a timely manner and has been looking at blocks of land for us before we purchase to make sure we can build what we want on the property instead of being disappointed down the line.
