An intimate congregation that has a welcoming, family vibe.Good family services that make children and families of young children very welcome.A biblically base service.The pastor and his wife have a strong foundation in the community.There is a Toddler Jam type session run, by the Pastor and his wife with Songs, Dance tactical activities for toddlers and morning tea and support for Parents held each week during the school term.Dance lessons thought the week and a ladies craft group held once a month.The op shop does a lot to support the people of Newman.

Having lived in Newman for 15 years going to the church was not something we did. Too stuffy for our Pilbara babies who loved to explore and play. Then the Kyngdon’s moved to town and a little church was brought to life. There was singing and dancing for young children being offered as a FREE activity for parents on Monday's, there was dance classes being offered to locals by an amazing dance teacher who was unable to find an affordable location before.There was Sunday school taught by the most patient and kindest woman I have ever had the pleasure to know.The Kyngdon’s are such an amazing example of do whatever you can to make something better. Mrs Kyngdon is Chairperson of Playgroup, she is a committee member of the P & C of Newman Primary and was also a committee member for Little Athletics. Mr Kyngdon was always there to cook a BBQ as a fundraiser or pack away after a Local event. Serving when needed on Little Athletics board in his free time.I personally attended many celebrations at the church and felt welcomed and cared for by a beautiful group of people who genuinely cared for our family.Everybody knows the Kyngdon’s whether it be for the Christmas Carol an event where all the churches come together to celebrate the story of Christmas through song. This event is run by Mr Kyngdon and to a town where so many do not have family close is so very welcomed.This little church is alive with genuine care to all who come to it’s doors. I am so grateful that the Kyngdon’s are there helping a community that filled our lives with so much love. Thank you!

Fantastic services led by a great leader

Housed in the centre of Newman with a congregation of just under 10 people on a busy week, this house of god is sure to underdeliver. Overseen by the kingdons, like the last name suggests you won't quite be seeing an accurate reflection of the kingdom, but then you won't be treated like family anyway. The preaching although lacklustre for most has a certain elegance if you're an new christian and don't mind a bit of heresy to start your day.The wife has a group of friends who vehemently defend her even though she whinges about them behind their backs. They will probably downvote this post.If you're a seasoned churchgoer or brand new person it's probably preferable to steer clear of this pool of hypocrisy. It is a good example of all the things Jesus came to save us from, so if you see it as a historical ninevah that even Jonah chose a fishing boat over; then it may give you a few weeks of enjoyment before you leave disillusioned that all of Gods 'kingdon' on earth are horrible people.Sadly when contacted the Anglican Church conjectured that they had nowhere else to send the family and no one else had volunteered to replace them, so they by would remain in Newman.
