Airlie Beach Hotel

Stayed here one night on a transfer before heading to a nearby island. The hotel is in a great location, but the room was less than desirable. We walked into the room for it to smell SO strongly of urine. Shutting the bathroom door helped minimally but the fact that the smell was that strong is a clear indication of the cleanliness.

We cannot thank the staff at Airlie Beach Hotel enough!! After arriving to start our honeymoon, there had been a mistake on Flight Centres behalf and our accommodation had been cancelled by flight centre. The staff at Airlie Beach were able to provide us with an emergency room as they were fully booked out, before being able to move us to a room we had booked. I was very stressed and tired at this point and they were so warm and welcoming and helpful. Will 100% stay there again due to the staff alone. Amazing place with a beautiful view of the beach. I would highly recommend this place. We went for a late lunch and my wife left her handbag on the table. We did not realise until the next day. We went back and the awesome staff returned it with everything inside. In one single gesture you made our holiday even more amazing. What a great culture your team has. Keep up the great work

Had booked for dinner at the Airlie beach hotel for tonight. Venue is presentable and clean and location is great. Ordered the steak and ribs combo and asked for the steak to be cooked medium. The food came to the table warm, the steak was very well done and the ribs were dry, flaky and over cooked. It was not a pleasant experience for $120. I was very disappointed after I won't be rushing back.

Great atmosphere and diligent staff. We enjoyed our overnight stay. Our room was modern and super clean. There is pride of ownership by all staff we met, The food was high quality, too honest pub food choices, all overlooking the boardwalk to the ocean.

Visiting for lunch - shore day from our cruise. Ordered lunch .... 45 minutes later, asked 'how long does it take to make a burger?' Response: we're busyWell, yes, we can see that but ...A) it's not like a cruise ship just popped out of nowhere with 2600 peopleB) when we ordered you should have said it's a long waitAlsoYour sides bar? Awful. Soggy mac n cheese, wilted veggies, not appealing at all.Cost: super overpricedFood: burnt to a crisp, but the chips were good.

Beyond Excellent meal!The fish and chips was the best I've ever tasted! Amazing value, and access to the salad bar too with the meal!Great music and nice sound system.Didn't stay here - just had a meal and a beer. Highly recommended for quality of food, service, friendliness, location and surroundings!!!

Loved it! Perfect location. Rooms are clean and so quiet even if the pub is busy. Bed was comfy! Staff are so friendly, food is good. Really enjoyed our stay here

Great location and Saturday afternoon entertainment at the bar downstairs is amazing. The rooms are clean and beds are comfy, We had beautiful views. The staff were polite. We did run out of hot water at 6.30pm but it was fully booked so I assume everyone was in the shower at the same time.Update. No hot water in the morning either and no compensation for the inconvenience of not having a shower for the duration of our stay
