A1 MARINE MATTERS

Do not ever go here. Paul the owner is very responsive prior and whilst getting new business however after getting the business he doesn’t pick up calls in a timely manner and neither does he respond to messages.They had my boat for 5 weeks for a 2 week job told me it will be ready multiple times but when i went to pick it up they were still working on it. One time they told me to come pick it up and when I went there at the time they said they were still running around rushing and asked for another 2 days to finish.1) Installed a new dash without a seal and boat took on water in the console after rain.2) Connected vhf but did not check if antenna was working and it was not.3) Ordered and invoiced for blue rear lights and got purple.4) They connected a new head unit and only connected 2 out of the 6 speakers.5) Paul made design changes on my boat with out consulting me and when asked about it he said he has the experience not me but changed it back at no cost.Paul is rude and when discussed this matters with him he said it’s my word against his. If i didn’t record the conversation on my phone that probably would be the case. Do yourself a favor and go to Sea tech Marine four doors down.

Gelcoat Repairs - I highly recommend Paul at A1 Marine Matters. The skill you’ve shown with repairs to my boat were amazing. We had gelcoat repairs desperately needed where it cut right through to the fibreglass. The end result was amazing. My boat literally looks brand new after the repairs it really put a huge smile on my face knowing I’ve made the right choice with A1. Paul was extremely professional in the way he handles his business from initial contact right through to the day we picked up our boat.
