Skipper Care provide amazing support for my Granddaughter, she has the most lovely support worker and the office team are also awesome, communication is great if things are changed or can't go ahead as expected, they always give you choice over who comes into your home and family, and you always know who is going to be arriving at your door.

Skipper Care is an amazing company.I moved to Skpper Care over a year ago with two of my clients because we were all stuck in a care agency that was only interested in money and not the wellbeing of it's clients or staff. Since moving we are all very happy with Skipper Care, they have assisted both my families with NDIS drama over plans and have found me more amazing clients to work with. I reguarly am thanked by my clients for moving, saying 'Thank God we switched, * would never have done this for us'.As a support worker I have never felt more connected to my company. Skipper Care reguarly holds Staff catch-up meetings to allow all workers to de-stress and talk about our clients in a confidential manner. This has helped me figure out how to better support my clients on several occasions and makes you feel connected in what is normally a very lonely job.

When I first joined skipper in February the whole atmosphere of the workplace was very fun and happy to walk in work going home feeling well looked aftered. Skipper care has the true heart unlike services on phones and lazy behind a desk not looking out for staff and clients that skipper care is not like that at all. I am pleased an employer like them have lots of passion and empathy in the work they give for clients they are not a money player they give trustworthy, quality and honesty to ensure clients always happy, so Avenger I was a employee my experiences was very good and they ensured I had experience as well a top noch qualification. I never had employers who care a lot about the wellbeing of clients and staff they also don’t tolerate workplace bullying and harassment it’s a free friendly environment. I recommend them to the best of a Disability organisation in Canberra!

I am apart of the skipper care as a participate and there's the amazing staff and everybody is wonderful to get along with. I have been since last year October in the program and Bec and Kagan ,Tori and so many other people, Are the most caring supportive people and I'm so happy that I've got to know them.It's such a family atmosphere before ,I came to the hub I was struggling they have helped me in so many ways,They listen and Give good advice,Their humor is the best, I can't thank you guy's and everybody at the hub enough, I get so happy every time I'm there.

At least these family members (oh and just to say I am a family member also) are willing to put a name on their reviews. Avenger.....if you have solid proof of these accusations please name yourself so that you are at least in a small way, credible......as it stands, you just sound like a whinging person who has a gripe with this Company. Too many people are aware of the wonderful job Skipper Care is doing in the community and know what awesome hardworking people Kagan and Bec are

Participants beware! This company is out to profit off transportation and request 90cents per Kilometre (out of your own pocket), or tells you that you can pay them to drive YOUR car! You are better off finding a sole trader who can make fairer agreements for transportation during a support shift.And Yes, you do still pay for their time driving you in your car! Not great if you can drive yourself!

This service started out great but then took the good workers away and stuck me with workers that weren't a fit. After several feedbacks to staff in office I was told well go with out then. At my most vulnerable point in my life they left me with no service no medication and didn't seem to be able to forfill there service agreement.My opinion is there unable to provide consistent care to psychosocial disability even though they have said that they can

Skipper care wants the best for their clients and go above and beyond to accommodate their clients needs. They always welcome feedback on workers and are always happy to have a chat when needed to figure out how best to assist their clients growth. Clients achievements are always recognised and celebrated no matter how small the achievement. A real positive atmosphare and I’d reccomand skipper care to anyone needing support workers.
