Liam, Nadia and I had the most wonderful Murrumbateman wine tour with Helen. The organisation was a breeze and she made sure to book us in to spots we hadn’t previously visited. From the get go she made our experience fantastic and stress free. Not only did we get to taste great wines but we also learned a lot about the region and how it came to be. We loved every bit of our ‘grape escape’ and would highly recommend booking in if you’d like a fun, luxurious and wine filled day out on the vines.

These guys took our booking at very late last minute notice and pulled together the perfect wine tasting experience. We’ll definitely be back to try more of the delicious wines that the Canberra region has to offer.

A huge thankyou to Rodney and Helen for making my very special Birthday so relaxed and enjoyable. My friends and I had a thoroughly enjoyable day tasting some delicious food and wine around the Murrumbateman wineries. We knew it was going to be a great day when we started our trip with champagne and strawberries and it just got better. Rodney was our driver for the day and we couldn't fault his professionalism, warmth and character. We loved the stories and I particularly appreciated how he made my friends feel comfortable and inclusive. He was an absolute delight to be around throughout the day and meeting his lovely wife Helen, was just an added bonus. I would highly recommend Rodney and Helen to anyone who is thinking about doing a winery tour in the Canberra region. My friends raved (and I wholeheartedly agree) that it was such a fabulous idea for any special occasion including a group of friends, for a couple perhaps, or even just a day trip getaway to enjoy nature and the surrounds and taste some of the wines and food the region has to offer. Loved it!!

We contacted Grape Escapes just days before we wanted to book a wine tour. Rodney and Helen were very quick to respond, very professional and thorough with their tour information in order for us to make a decision to proceed. Helen was our guide for the day. She did a fantastic job. Again, very professional and also informative about the wine district and Canberra. The wineries she selected for us to visit were charming (Clonakilla, McKellar Ridge & Eden Road), with a wonderful selection of the wines of the area. Lunch at Shaw Wineries was delicious. We really enjoyed the tour and would recommend Grape Escapes to anyone wanting a very personable and friendly tour.

We had an unbelievable experience from Helen. We had so much fun. The whole experience exciting and sensational. right from picking us from home ,having snacks and lunch was excellent. The car was impressive and champagne was offered to us the moment we got in the car. Helen shared a history of vineyards on the way and she was very entertaining. She even bought an ice cream for my daughter and was a great company for her while we were busy tasting the wine. A wonderful gift with handwritten note of thanks was personal and awesome.
