I bought violin here. I highly rated this place because the staff are so friendly and help/guide to choose right instrument. They give right advice to kids and motivate them to learn. I felt post servicing the instrument sounded really well. One of the best shops to buy and rent instruments such as violin, cello viola ..etc. there after purchase care is really good.

Paul served us beautifully. It took us 3 hours to select a suitable advanced violin. Paul left us alone to do our thing and when we needed him he was able to give us appropriate choices for the next group of violins and bows. We found our forever violin because he was able to cater to our needs. Ask for Paul. He is able to give you wonderful background and information about the violins too. Highly knowledgeable.

Last Thursday, Mr Lou Ortiz helped my son for shoulder rest adjustment. He is very friendly, patient to answer my questions and very knowledgeable. Even just a no fee service, he make us feel very comfortable . Thanks a lot to Mr Lou Ortiz and the centre.

The service was very friendly and professional - Olivia played the violins for us, then gave us time to try them out ourselves until we chose the one we wanted to purchase. The exchange with the rental was seamless and helped to cover some of the cost of our new instrument. The lifetime free servicing is an amazing offer. Highly recommended!

We recently purchased a violin from the store and it can be an overwhelming experience however we had the most incredible service. Nick was extremely knowledgeable and really took the time to show us all our options and explain in depth the various violins, Nick also shared lots of helpful tips and went above and beyond. Outstanding customer service and couldn’t recommend this shop and staff enough!A big thank you to Sydney Strings Centre.

I am a hobbiest. I am not a virtuoso, but I love beautiful violin music.I have had my violin serviced by The Sydney String Centre, and whilst there are imperfections in my playing technique (as I only had 2 years of lessons 20 years ago, it is good to have my violin sounding as nice as possible when I play it for my own enjoyment.Several weeks ago, I also bought a 15 inch Johann Stauffer viola from the Sydney String Centre when they visited Armidale. It has a very nice warm tone, and I have started playing it, and needless to say, am looking forward very much to continuing to learn to play it!

After a four-month search we bought an advanced/professional cello from The Sydney String Centre. Well set-up, spacious and very comfortable testing rooms. We were also able to borrow a couple of cellos for a trial before making the final decision. A big shout out to Lou who is knowledgeable, helpful, and infinitely patient. He was never pushy, gave us plenty of time, and went above and beyond to help us pick the right instrument.

Sorry, I gave review a little bit late. My daughter rented her first violin a month ago and We were very happy with our experience in Sydney string Centre. Lou was very nice, friendly and patient, and his professional knowledge was very helpful. He gave advice and motivated my daughter to learn. I will definitely recommend Sydney Sring Centre to others.

My daughter updated to a full size cello this weekend. We were served by Lou Ortiz and we were very happy with the assistance Lou provided. The room was set up overnight and we were able to not only try the cello we wanted to test (and eventually bought it) but also tried a different cello as well. Lou was very professional and answer all ours and my daughter's teacher Michal's questions. This is our 3rd instruments bought at The Sydney String Centre. It is the professional and friendly staff like Lou and a wide range of instruments and accessories that keep us coming back to the centre.
