The female staff named Margaret is a waste of tax payer's money. She was downright rude, and raised her voice telling me she's been working in Centrelink for 30 years and I'm not in a position to tell her how to do her job. I explained to her that there was a discrepancy in advice received from different staff members of the same service centre, and I would like to clarify that. Then she passed me onto another male staff member, who was then confused with her half-done task.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Finished work earlier to get there before closing only to be sent away with a lie. Apparently they don't deal with any claims for newborns or parental leave. The online system is broken, and I explained that - they gave me a phone number to call - same thing, the phone number hangs up and then blocks my number from calling again.Useless branch, useless government, useless services. This is when you start appreciating Service NSW and what they do... much smoother. A shame for this to be representing Australia.

I will be honest about this place there are some rude people when you go to your appointment and you explain your situation and they don't listen on what your saying they just say it in your face and that's it completely rude I wanted help and they just don't care about my feelings they ignore you and don't help you what's so ever

I left work as early as possible just to make it to the centre before they closed. Arrived at 4:20 and was told that it would take too long to process for a vaccine certificate and asked to leave. Unbelievable! Should change the business hours to close at an earlier time instead.

I would love to give zero star if I could. The worst customer service ever! The woman at the counter she was so rude and lazy that she didn’t even listen to what i was saying, she just kept saying her own thing. Never going there again.

I noticed there are a lot of bad reviews and it is understandable. I visited here today to talk about my dad and parental payment.They did a check on my application and confirm all documents is done and still on process. It is true that I have been waiting for long time with online application, and also they could not do much and refer to call a Family Line which never pick up call.But everything else is more like a lacking side for Services Australia overall, not talking about this branch. I found the operator was helpful but could not do things outside their power. I rate bad overall for Centrelink but this branch is good I think.

The people there were no way near helpful and told me to just call the same number I had been calling for days that lead to nowhere as the automatic bot did not let me speak me to an operator. Yet I brought this issue up and they still told me to call them regardless to be put in few hours long call. The Indian lady at Counter 5 was of least help as she directed me to the call but the reception inside Service was bad and the call disconnected and I went to her when I noticed there was no one and I asked her to call my number again, and she said, “Sorry I have someone else to serve. That’s too bad, go get a different ticket”, when it only took her 2 seconds to get the line to call me back on my phone the first time. When I went to get the ticket again, a different lady served me but she couldn’t even get the correct number to phone me and I am still in the call and it has been over two hours with no operator on the line. Absolutely no compassion and lack of skills there, a simple task yet so incompetent to assist customers out.THE MOST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED FROM ANY SERVICES AUSTRLIA, which is ironic since this location is new and up to date with technology. Very disappointing to say the least

I recently came here regarding a youth allowance claim/rent assistance. It had been taking a while and I was running out of money. I was scared. I came in to chase it up and show how urgent it was for the rent assistance. The first guy I spoke to, I can’t remember his name but he was old, slow, and had no idea what he was doing. I was crying my eyes out and dude didn’t even care. The second person I spoke to was a social worker called Muhammad (I’m not sure if I’ve spelt that right). He was kind and caring. He helped speed my claim along, was sympathetic and understanding, asked about my cat and remembered his name and things about him when we spoke a few days later. He gave me lots of resources on places that will help with housing, rent assistance, mental health, legal aid, that sort of stuff. I think the world should be filled with more Muhammad’s. For Muhammad, 5 stars. The 4 star review is only because the first guy sucked. And also because the online centrelink is very confusing and it’s an arduous process chasing anything up. My heart breaks for people who are not as able as myself who don’t have the ability to go into centrelink in person to chase up claims and payments.
