Claro Aged Care and Disability Services

I would avoid Claro at all costs.After quite a few years my mother's care provider was bought out by Claro and the service has pretty much been a disaster ever since.From understanding their invoicing to trying to set up a direct debit for the payment everything is hard.For the last 7 weeks no one from the company has shown up to provide my mother with her weekly care, when we call we get a different person who apologizes and says they'll call back and never do (waiting on about 6 different promised callbacks now).The only time we've been contacted by the company is to do a care review where they come out and fill out some forms. Both times it was the staff members last week as they'd resigned and I personally wondered why they always seem to rush to get these reviews done when they are leaving. Well knowing how this company runs there's likely only one reason - to get the payment from the government of X% of the annual care package.They are a disaster, not because of Covid, they've been 1 star for years. The personnel giving the care have always been tremendous - the company the opposite.Changing provider now and the company who's starting next week has no issues with staff - so again, is it staff or how they treat them?This company reminds me of the Pink Bats debacle - lots of money in Aged Care from the government, let's grab as much as we can and if an elderly person needing care doesn't get a visit or a phone call for 7 weeks so be it.Disgraceful - avoid.

One of the best places to work in! Management is super supportive and are very client - centred as they are more involved in what their clients need. Very diverse work culture too. Thank you Claro ⭐️

They have an office space in West Footscray amongst residential apartments. Nothing but junk on the balcony, loutish behaviour by staff as early as 7:30 in the morning, cleaners making noise at midnight banging and clanging without a respect for neighbours, and no one responds to concerns raised. A joke.

As a support coordinator, running my own coordination business and working with many organizations including Claro.I have some customers who live in one of the SDA homes in Caulfield managed by Claro, who do an exceptional job with providing support to customers.Low staff turnover, no agency use, which is very unusual for to see in accommodation. The ASL, is always contactable, responses to emails and is a caring, and all about the customers.I love working with Claro and ASL, and my experience has been nothing but the best.

Her ability to inspire and motivate the team to achieve goals and objectives is truly remarkable. She consistently demonstrate a commitment to quality, and always go the extra mile to ensure the success of the company. I have only been working with Claro for the past 3 months. During this time, I have been fortunate enough to observe the amazing dedication, commitment, passion and drive shown by so many people! Management, the Support Workers, Customer Service Managers, Intake Team, but to name a few. They never give up, always thinking outside the box, to not only meet, but to also exceed expectations. Claro are not happy, unless you're happy. They really do go above and beyond and place families and their loved ones at the centre of all that they do! I for one, am a very happy team member!

I've worked for Claro in multiple roles and have always been treated with respect and given ample opportunity to learn and grow into new roles. I would highly recommend my friends and previous colleagues to work here. I guess the ultimate sign of confidence in a brand and a service, is I would without hesitation engage in Claro, to help provide support to a family member if required.

I have worked for Claro for 30 years, working with friendly staff, and being part of an organization that keeps on growing. Great opportunities given, training provided, courses available. Employee's are friendly and happy to assist.

I’m in a SDA apartment with Claro carers on-site. It’s made my independent living so much easier. I feel much safer knowing that’s there is assistance always on hand.They are extremely friendly & always do above what is asked of them.
