Belgian Gardens Post Office

Veronica and her team provide a super friendly service. Nothing is to much trouble and they are more then a Post Office. They have gifts and nic nacs that you need to see. Do yourself a favor and call in to the post office, to see why we keep going back to Veronica and her team.Customers like the extra opening hours at special times through out the year. We highly recommend this Belgian garden post office.

Massive thanks to Zack and staff. We had some identity documentation from our solicitor to be submitted. Zack and staff went above and beyond, reprinting the documents as apparently a scan code was missing. So thankful for the attention to detail and assistance in fixing.These guys are awesome.

We had an incredibly complicated property transfer issue to carry out which required identification confirmation and other matters to be done at an Australia Post facility. The Belgian Gardens LPO were absolutely fantastic and assisted us way beyond what could be normally expected as our solicitor had not provided the detail we needed or all of the forms in the correct format. Zack with the assistance of other staff members not only helped us through the difficult ptocess but went out of their way to help us overcome issues unrelated to their role in the process. A truly brilliant example of outstanding customer service which was greatly appreciated by us.

I would have liked to have given a higher rating, as this is the closest post office to me. However, some staff appear to be confused with the Parcel Collect service. Each time I have been to collect a parcel it seems like a nuisance to the staff who have assisted.My partner went to collect the most recent parcel on my behalf. I followed the correct procedure for having somebody else collect a parcel. He presented the correct ID and AusPost authorisation directly from their website, however the staff member was unable to provide him with the parcel. She was unable to give a reason why. It was only after a kinder staff member overheard and corrected her, that my partner was able to get the parcel. Unfortunately, this was still met with fierce objection from the lady, she still believes that he should not be able to collect on my behalf.On a second occasion, I had a parcel redirected from my home address to 'collect at Post Office' (again following the correct AusPost procedure, and presenting the staff with a scan code to prove this). The staff were advising me that it is not possible to do such a thing, that I will need to purchase a PO Box.

This post office is in my area and I have encountered rudeness many times from the employees however today was the worst. I recommend to anyone in north Ward area to go to the Townsville city post office next to Woolies, they are excellent and have never had a negative experience there.
