Mums and Dads, please don’t send your kids here. This school lacks any sort of structure or discipline. Kids swear at teachers - teachers do nothing. Kids wrestling on the floor during a science class - teachers do nothing. Girls wear knee high boots with their skirts so short you can see what they have for breakfast - teachers do nothing. Girls wearing their school shirts open with just a bra underneath - teachers do nothing. Call me a prude but this is not the environment I want my daughter to be in, and neither does she. What an earth has happened to the public school system?!Disgusting.

I went there back in 2010 to start year 7. Some people I knew from my primary school were also going there. I felt confident at first about going to an art school, and as of right now, I enjoy making images in Source Filmmaker and editing them in Photoshop (I am MOSTLY self taught in both programs despite having gone to an “ART SCHOOL”). However not even 2 years went by and the principle changed to Ms Alves, that is when my experience plummeted faster than a meteor heading directly to Earth. I think you know where this is going already. But don’t worry, it eventually gets better (only slightly). Just to shorten it out for you so you don’t have to read a former student’s rambling of how they wasted 6 years in this place... The years were all out hell for me. I was bullied by some students (and staff) and some of the teachers hardly assisted me let alone even seemed to care/notice I was struggling at times. My year 10 Math’s teacher continued to nag me till it stressed me out to the point I had one hell of a verbal outburst in front of the class that I was sent to the head teacher, and what was it that she was nagging me about? A calculator, which I also had ON MY IPHONE. But the school refused to let any students use that, let alone THE ONES THE SCHOOL ALSO HAD. So fast forward to year 11/12. I had become something of a recluse and my mental health wasn’t (and still kind of isn’t) great. I had drifted away from all my primary school friends and would spend my time alone on my laptop (which at the time would crash almost frequently). I had only one friend I managed to make who also felt the same way I did, I still luckily have kept contact with him. I had to hear former librarians talk my year group down, and the principle whining over easy to fix problems, like the poor quality uniform that we all had to wear. The only jacket that kept me relatively warm was my year 12 jersey. And the year 12 farewell was nothing but a horrid excuse for a send off for my year group. By this time, non of us felt like we were treated with any respect (And admittedly we returned that in kind), and we just couldn’t wait to get out of there. Then the principle said something that had been stuck in my head for the past few years and this very day. “You’re not special. Nothing about this is special. There are many students that are going through this same thing, so there is nothing special about this” to put it simply. Don’t even try to argue that something like THAT wasn’t probably the biggest middle finger my year group ever got. I am now currently 21 years old, unemployed and with three cert IIs one in Design fundamentals: graphic design from TEVT in which I was lucky enough to meet my now current girlfriend. THAT plus the Cert II was the only good thing I got out of my school experience. And the school had hardly anything to do with it aside getting in the course, which probably could have been done by my parents just as easily. My other two are from the academy of interactive entertainment in Game programming and design, and a cert II in warehousing. However, the thought of getting a job, leaves me anxious and unable to get myself to even start searching without feeling any sort of stress/anxiety and my hands tend to shake a bit. This school did nothing to prepare me for the workforce and I will never, ever, recommend this to anyone as long as I still live.IF YOU TREASURE YOUR CHILD’S MENTAL HEALTH (especially if they have autism. I’m serious here) DO NOT TAKE THEM THERE! THERE ARE BETTER PLACES YOU CAN TAKE THEM TO FOR ANYTHING REGARDING ART! This school failed to keep their promises toward me and I paid the price.

Wake up to reality! Nothing ever goes as planned in this accursed world. The longer you live, the more you realize that the only things that truly exist in this reality are merely pain, suffering and futility. Listen, everywhere you look in this world, wherever there is light, there will always be shadows to be found as well. As long as there is a concept of victors, the vanquished will also exist. The selfish intent of wanting to preserve peace, initiates war and hatred is born in order to protect love. There are nexuses causal relationships that cannot be separated.-Madara Uchiha

the school is not the best, there are vaping problems, graffiti problems and many others, classes are fine even great if you have a good teacher.
