D.R.E are fantastic. Cars were spotlessly clean, and set up great for the trip. We hired two vehicles and drove to derby for a few days of riding. Candace and Kane kindly enabled us to post the ebike batteries to the workshop and set up the bikes there once we arrived. Such great people to deal with and the vehicles were exactly what we needed for our trip. Will definitely be back.

Communication and customer service from Candace and the team was 10/10. The boys enjoyed their trip to Derby and D.R.E made it so easy - from pick up to the airport, to bike assembly and the custom made bike racks. D.R.E were also so flexible with our booking with constant changing flight dates and times. Cannot recommend D.R.E enough! We will be back! Thanks team :)

Absolutely spot on... I can't recommend this company enough, the booking process and the timely emails as you get closer to the trip give you all the info you need, the vehicle collection was to the minute on time, a great explanation of the cars features and how to use the bike racks before you head off, the ute was near new and in first class condition. I loaded my bike and headed to Derby for a few days that turned into a week, a perfect vehicle for the drive up and down the shuttle routes, I met both Candace and Kane on the trails by chance at Derby and this explains why this company is so good... they ride and have the same passion as all of us riders. The drop off at the end of the trip was back to the airport is a great service that finishes off the trip perfectly. Book yourself a ute and enjoy..it's really that simple, I will be back for more another day. Thank you.

DRE was the perfect way to do Derby, I was so glad they were recommended to us by a friend. Kane picked us from the airport with no delays, and took us to their workshop in Invermay to build our bikes. The Triton had everything we needed including UHF radio for shuttling at Derby, first aid kit, cooler, great racking system and the car was also pretty much brand new. Candace and Kane even found us a new bike box to go home with as one of ours had been battered on the way to Launceston, and disposed off the old one for us, they went above and beyond and I'll be definitely be using them again when going to Tassie.

Kane and Candace offer a great service for the traveling mtb family. Their vehicle was fantastic for us to tour and explore Tassie including Derby, St Helens, Maydena, Railton, Launceston and beyond. The car setup was perfect for all our bikes and gear, and airport transfers and workshop access make for a convenient and tailored solution for interstate riders. You can see the business has been established by a riding family as its perfectly suited for a riding holiday. Their customer service was fantastic, and we felt right at home with their friendly and helpful service. We are very happy customers which will be booking again with Driverideexplore for our next mtb adventure in Tassie. Highly recommended!!

Booked DRE in April for a MTB trip away from Melbourne-just managed to squeeze in between lockdowns! From the outset Candace and Kane were just awesome in regard to communication, local advice and thinking ahead to make the trip easy. The airport pickup, workshop space & tools for bike setup as well as truck setup were all really well thought out. We were driving 1.5hrs twice daily from Launceston to Derby and had no issues at all with the truck. Everything was spot on, down to the choice of bike rack on the vehicle and provision of a cooler and lock. Great value for money-highly recommend and hope to visit and make use again! Thanks Candace and Kane-you guys are awesome =)

If you are flying into Launceston with your bikes to do some riding around Tasmania then I highly recommend Drive Ride Explore. The service from Candace and Kane is second to none. From Airport pickup, to the workshop to build your bike, to storing your bike box/bag, they take care of all the things you need to get underway and enjoy your holiday. Great cars, well kitted out.

When you don't think about your car during an overseas bike road trip, it means you had a good car. The team from Drive Ride Explore and the car were super reliable. Hiring their trucks is haslle free. I recommend one hundred percent. Avoid driving night time in Tasmania, it turn into a game with wallabies, wombats and posssums crossing in front of you every single minute but If you want to observe the wild life driving slowly it is a unique experience as well. You guys made our trip better . Thank you.

The Drive Ride Explore utes were perfect for our group of seven female mountain bikers. It allowed us the freedom to explore various trails in different locations, to run errands and to pack up lunches that we could keep in the esky in the Ute for the day. The flexibility was so much better than using shuttles. The radios were super handy to communicate with the shuttle vehicles in Derby ('private going up at Town Hall!'). Candace and Kane were super helpful and they have thought about everything. Highly recommend!
