Trust your gut feeling on this one. $141 call out fee for some degenerate to walk into your home, look at the unit for 3 minutes then stumble for 10 minutes explaining how you need to pay $1k for a service they can’t even properly explain, which doesn’t include any actual repairs. All their pricing is after the fact because if you only find out it’ll cost you thousands when you’ve already sunk money and need cool air, you pull the trigger. Never use, wait for a decent, honest technician service.

Called metropolitan for a quote to service two aircons and potentially install a further two. Charged me $140 for a call-out to make the quote which should have been the first sign that they were dodgy. The quote to service two aircons was $2,090. The quote for the purchase and installation of two aircon units was $14,000. Laughably high quotes which were more than 400% of competitors. Found out after dismissing the quotes and sending the bloke away that the business has been on the news for ripping off consumers. Glad to see they’re still giving it their best shot. Never give up on your dreams you den of thieves.
