I loved the food but I find a metal piece in the one of dish I ordered takeaway. It’s really sharpe and get dangerous if someone eats it. Hope the kitchen staff pay much more attention on the food quality and make it secure to the customers

Food was good and quick! They’re open late into lunch (after 3pm) when many other places in the area are closed. Noodles were great and decent sized serving. I was super full and they were very accommodating to me and my friend.

A bit of an institution for the area, service is simple but friendly, and food is generally good between the handmade noodles and dumplings. Expect some variation between sittings since handmade food depends on who was in the kitchen making it, but I find it overall reliable for a dumpling and noodle fix.

While the food here is usually good, I was really disappointed with my last takeaway experience. I ordered takeaway (in store) and waited in the restaurant for 45 minutes for my order. While it was a Friday night and somewhat busy, I watched several tables of seated diners order and receive their meals in the time I was waiting in the restaurant to pick up my meal. I understand that staffing issues are affecting many restaurants, but watching others receive their meals fairly quickly was frustrating.I was further disappointed when I unpacked the meal at home to discover the main meat dish to only be half-filled. Fried rice, some vegetables and half a meat dish for $55 is pretty ridiculous. I hope this was a one-off or a bad day in the kitchen, but it will be a while before I am tempted to eat here again.

From the states - came here for a bite twice because it was close to the hotel and we fell in love the first time. Steamed and pan fried dumplings were great, and reasonably priced! This was a nice refreshing break during our time running around Sydney. Staff and owner were all friendly to us, even gave my girlfriend a fork when she (without admitting) struggled with chopsticks.

Love this little place in Union square, Pyrmont.Delicious dumplings, pancakes and other food. For super reasonable prices.Had 32 dumplings, shallot pancakes, garlic & onion fried beans and a couple of drinks for $65. Enough food for 4 men.Service and preparation is really fast, so it’s a great spot to grab a bite at lunch time or when you’re in a hurry.

Cozy place with nice decoration and good food. One of the best alternatives in this neighborhood. I tried peanut chicken noodle and it was very good. Price performance is also quite good, food portion was very satisfying. Overall I would recommend this place especially for having quick bites lunch times.

非常不用心的餐厅,很失望。Very disappointed. The skin of the Chives pastry was twice thick comparing to the restaurants in Eastwood or Burwood.Steamed buns were probably made from frozen semi-cooked products. Texture was no where near freshly hand made ones.Mutton soup had no aroma nor flavor. If a Chinese restaurant like this can score 4.2, I can’t imagine what other Chinese restaurants will be like around this area.

Disappointing. The move to the new location has not been kind to this restaurant, great location and nice fitout that’s where the good points finish. Unfortunately the staff do not care, extremely rude, more interested in themselves, had earphones in and no ambiance, no music, no customer engagement, a self service system that is confusing, that’s requiring you to scan a code at the table to pay in contrast to signs on the wall that state please order and pay at the counter, except the staff do no want to serve you that way. No table service for water, no offer to upswell, unclean and grubby tables, no sanitary at all. The food was also underwhelming it was not fresh, tasted like it had been reheated. Never again.
