Sydney Petlands

I would love to keep Sydney Petlands a secret, all to myself but I'll put it out there because they are good people. The second time we used them, my German Shepherd dragged me to their front gates like she couldn't wait to get in. I'm no animal psychologist but I think that's a good sign. It is very apparent that the staff at Sydney Petlands love their jobs and genuinely care about the dogs they look after. When I picked my dog up 4 days later she looked happy and healthy (not like another kennel that looked after our previous dog only to give her kennel-cough). They also washed her. I would recommend Sydney Petlands without question.

My dog had a holiday here for 10 days. He sent me two messages telling me what a great time he was having with some photos - I didn't know he knew how to use a phone. I am so glad he didn't have access to my credit cards. Who knows what I'd be getting billed for. I thoroughly recommend Sydney Petlands and would be happy to take Clyde back next time we are on holiday.

Prior to the new owners, we used Sydney Petlands often for 9 years & loved it.In the last 12 months, it has changed considerably. Now they will only take dogs of 10 years & younger (ageism … what?!), not to mention the less than ideal state our beautiful labxboxer was in on pick up last Summer. Had lost weight & not been socialized - we had NEVER had this problem before & still don’t.At the time we decided not to raise it & give them the benefit of the doubt. Review your animal management capabilities & don’t be in the business of a kennel if you can’t handle dogs of all natures, sizes & abilities!Our placid dog is now off to a farm stay who have been lovely, clean & welcoming! No amount of fancy website & email systems can make up for poor animal & customer service.Spend your money elsewhere!

Nala (Our 12 month old Rottie) came home so content and well cared for, we loved the postcard updates while we were away on holidays which gave us peace of mind. Nala is a sweet, sensitive girl and we have had her come home a shaking mess with other kennels, also with kennel cough, after staying with Petlands - she's never been healthier and she is her happy self! We will definitely leave her with you guys again, thank you so much!!!

My two Labradors aged 4 and 6 recently spent a week here over the Christmas Holidays. My girls were so happy and were very well looked after by their pet nannies. The staff were very friendly and helpful with the booking process and assisted in answering all my questions! This is the first time they have stayed here and I was extremely happy, so I would definitely recommend. My girls were so fluffy and clean and huggable when I collected them, that’s a real positive! And we also received a lovely pet postcard with an update and photos of how they were going, which helps when you are missing your fur babies. Thank you to all the staff at Sydney Petlands who looked after Pepper & Coco!

Our much loved dog Knox, recently stayed at Sydney Petlands. The staff were both professional and caring. Knox came home happy and tired after all his play time with the other dogs.Thank you to all the staff. We will definitely use your services again.

Highly recommend Sydney Petlands. Our 2 yr old golden retriever Loki, recently had a 2 week holiday. He was greeted with lots of cuddles, love and care. We received postcard updates with gorgeous photos of our big boy enjoying himself with his new friends and nanny Courtney. Absolutely loved seeing these pics while away. He was beautiful and clean on pick up and even his favourite toy was given a bath. Sydney Petlands truly is a wonderful place and alleviates the stress of leaving your fur babies.

Our 2-year-old border collie Harvey had a great time at Sydney Petlands. We had a last-minute trip over the Christmas/New Year period, and they took him with just a day's notice. Check in was easy and we received a lovely postcard halfway through his stay. He made friends with another border collie Harley. Harvey & Harley, what are the chances! Would definitely recommend Sydney Petlands and I'm sure we will use again.

Petlands looked after my dog Sedona for just over 5 weeks. You can really sense the love and care for the animals they have responsibility for. I really appreciated the weekly updates via the postcards and even a phone call regarding an issue. I will definitely come back and recommend them to my friends and family.
