This is a fabulous little hideaway bar and venue for live music. They brew their own boutique beer and have a good selection of beer and wines. There’s a small food menu and the pizza I tried was quite tasty. Upstairs there’s a small room and stage for live bands which will fill up at around 40/50 people. It’s an excellent venue if you want to get up close and personal with your favourite performer. A western theme dominates the room with bull horns, indian totem statue and flying bat, very cool. Downstairs is a small bar area and courtyard to drink outside. Be prepared to get there via public transport as there’s no parking accept for the broadway shopping complex parking station. Had a great time there.

Great space. Fine assortment of craft beer brewed on the premises. Wonderful, friendly, gregarious staff and exceptional service. Fantastic live music upstairs is a huge bonus as is the courtyard. The local beer brewed on the premises is top notch. Highly recommended.

Staves is a recent addition to the micro brewery scene in the inner west in Sydney. Service is always good but the range of beers has been reduced as Staves is now brewing their own beer which is good and bad as previously they stocked beers from famous nearby breweries (Young Henry's, Drifters).. it makes for a nice change from the bars and pubs in the area so definitely check it out

If you work on the city, this is the place to go after work for a drink. Skip out on all those fancy cocktail bars and have a frosty pint or two or seven, whatever you want, I won’t judge. Staves is a down to earth brewery and that’s something I dig. The team is super friendly and knowledgeable, they don’t make you feel lesser than for not knowing about the latest trends in beer. Highly recommend!

Great place to hang out for a bit. Small but full of character.Approx 10 of their beers on tap at any time. Tasting paddles available. Also an interesting range of cocktails if you are visiting with friends that don’t like beer. (Why are they you friends if they don’t like beer?)I recommend checking this place out if you are in the area.

Best independent craft beer brewery south of the bridge.Great service, very friendly bar tender good for a yarn and knows his stuff. All the beers on tap are brewed on site and a good selection of the tins brewed on site too.Very impressed with the quality and great price! There's also a function room that can be booked for events.

Really great location and actually top beers in my view, it's a inner city gem, that defiantly deserves a spot in Sydneys top breweries.Best night is open Mic night for sure(thursday) where upstairs they host a few young and talented muscisions from all over the area.Overall though they make amazing beers, have met the owner a few times and he is a absolute legend.

Staves Brewery
Nice beers and ambience. Shame the odd schedules. Didn't expect the place to be closed on a Tuesday or Wednesday and many days not opening for lunch until 4. Just following the data provided on google maps.
