Took great care of our cat during a recent check up. Reasonable prices and good advice.

Terrible service. Took my dog there for some serious surgery, the removal of tumours. Did not even get to speak to a Vet. l was seen by the nurse . When collecting my dog l was told the whimpering he was doing was what staffies did when they came out of anesthetic. This was absolute rubbish. They had not given him enough pain killers and my poor baby was in pain. l do not recommend this surgery at all.

Everyone who works here is so lovely! Every time we brought our cat Couscous in we left saying proudly to each other that he was definitely their favourite patient, but I’m sure they make everyone feel that way, because they genuinely love all the animals. He had a happier and significantly longer life because of them (Lucy, Kathy and Jane in particular but everyone we saw) and when the time eventually came (back in December 2021) they gave him a peaceful death and showed us such compassion. Then a week later we got a lovely hand written card in the mail. I’ve been meaning to write this review for years! thank you for everything you do and the beautiful way you do it.

This is a wonderful surgery with caring, understanding and intelligent staff. I first came here 17 years ago and have only had positive experiences with the vets, nurses and assistants.Dr Kath is so knowledgeable, kind and reassuring, regardless of the severity of the cases that are presented to her. She takes the time to fuss over and praise her patients when it’s an easy visit, and applies complete focus and professionalism when a serious problem with an animal comes through the door.Knowing that I have access to Kath and all of the brilliant vets and support staff at Kensington Vet Clinic reassures me as a pet owner. May this clinic stay around forever xx

They give me great advice and really care about my little girl.

I have used Kensington Vet for years for my cat but had the worst experience recently. Took my cat in for an ear infection. They prescribed antibiotic drops, took samples for testing but never gave results. 2 weeks later at a check up the infection was no better and a new drops were prescribed with new tests. 2 months of this cycle and no improvement. I had to go overseas and left my cat in cat camp and they had to get an emergency vet in who said she had flees and no bacteria and actually had developed a secondary infection from all the bacterial drops. All this also costed over 2500 dollars!

Finally a Vet ( other than Lort Smith) in Melbourne that genuinely cares about my dogs health instead of my money. They arnt out to rip people off with unessential jabs and procedures. Great Vets, very impressed and highly recommend.

Very helpful staff. The dog appreciated the visit also.

the vet we went to see was very helpful with our dog. although we did spend a lot and he didn't know how to apply the pensions discount. his services and the way he was with our dog was the best I have ever experienced in Melbourne. I highly recommend this place for your furry babies .
