It is so wonderful to have Mariam on your team when your child needs support with speech. Mariam has so easily built a rapport with my 3 year old, and makes sessions fun so that he engages with her assessments and activities. She explains things to me in a way that I can understand, and gives me practical things to work on with my son at home. Mariam has never pushed sessions that weren't needed - as my son progressed she's reduced the frequency, and now he is doing so well we are taking a break for a while. Since the first session, I've been very confident that my son's speech development has been in the right hands.

Mariam is such a vital and highly regarded part of our child's and family's life. She brings so much energy and enthusiasm to our sessions, and is always engaging our child in ways that surprise and delight us. With a large and longstanding skill set, Mariam is able to guide us and educate us to ensure our child's wellbeing and goals are met.

I have worked with Mariam from KoMSP in the school setting as she supports a child in my grade. I've had meetings between myself and parents with Mariam present, in which she clearly displays a deep genuine care to support the children she works with. It is evident that their positive growth and development is her utmost priority. She is excellent to communicate with, creative, supportive of me as a teacher of her client and a pleasure to work alongside. I've worked with many speech pathologists and undoubtedly I'd recommend KoMSP to any parent and school to work with.

I cannot recommend Mariam (Kids of Melbourne Speech Pathology) more highly. My 4.5yo daughter Gracie has been working with Mariam for 1.5yrs-2yrs now and adores her. She was able to build a rapport very quickly with her and Gracie looks forward to and runs from the car to her appointments. Because of the relationship that they have built and Mariam's level of skill and experience Mariam knows how to get the most out of every session with Gracie and she has come so far. Mariam has always helped me to resolve other issues we are facing and I have always felt comfortable asking any questions and seeking advice as I navigate Gracie's needs and behaviours (Dup 15q Syndrome, ASD, Developmental Delay).The variety of resources Mariam has available is wonderful - including access to a small gymnasium/therapy room to incorporate movement and language in a different context. She uses visual schedules, finished bags and other tools that have worked brilliantly with Gracie and helped so much at home - cannot recommend Mariam enough :)- Laura Mangubat
