Ubika Day Spa Blue Mountains

I would like to share my wonderful experience at Ubika day spa this morning. From the moment I went through the front door I immediately felt welcome with a warm greeting by Ruth. I was offered herbal tea and relaxed on one of the many comfy sofa chairs. My 90 minute facial spa treatment was delivered by Mia, who I can only describe as a young efficient, calm, professional. Mia explained the treatment and made me feel very relaxed. I was treated to the best and most blissful facial experience. I felt extremely light and refreshed afterwards. I was not made to feel rushed and was offered more tea. I will be definitely coming back. Thank you Mia.

My boyfriend and I went here and got a lovely massage the other day. They were able to book us in with quite short notice which I really appreciated. We were able to fill out the information forms online in advance which was great. When we arrived we were checked in with no problems and offered a seat in a very calming Zen room which was a relaxing start. The massages were great and the perfect way to unwind on a weekend away. The process was smooth and calming the whole way through. We will definitely be coming back.

I had a disappointing experience at this spa. The front desk staff were incredibly unhelpful and provided poor customer service. They should have shown us the facilities, including the lockers and changing room, which made the whole experience confusing and frustrating. We went into the massage room with all our clothes and belonging rather than changing into the robe and putting our belonging in the locker.The massage itself was also very disappointing. The therapist lacked proper technique, and I felt more like someone was applying oil on my body rather than giving a good massage. When I asked the therapist to apply more pressure twice, they said this was not a high-pressure massage. At this point, I gave up and accepted that we made a wrong decision by booking this spa.Overall, I would not recommend this spa to anyone. The poor customer service from the front desk and the therapist's lack of proper massage techniques made for a disappointing experience, given the price they were charging.My friend also had the same experience with another therapist.

Had an awful experience at Ubika.Had booked a massage on 22/4 online for 1/5. Arrived 15 minutes prior to appointment as asked. Upon walking in I said I had an appointment, the person working at reception asked my name. I gave it to her. Proceeded to ask for my name again and then a co worker asked for my name again.The receptionist kept looking at her screen asking me when I had booked etc. I showed her my email on my phone confirming my appointment. Instead of asking me to take a seat and offer me a water and perhaps saying there’s been a bit of a mix up and we will sort it out, the person acted like I was some kind of scam artist trying to hustle my way in.She asked me to spell my name again and repeated my phone number back to me incorrectly.Not friendly, not helpful.The receptionist said she could book another appointment and that it was her co-workers fault that worked on the day I made the booking.You never throw a co-worker under the bus.I made a booking, I received confirmation. There was no effort at all to see if they could squeeze me in… even though technically I had booked in.No effort to make up for the mistake.Customer Service - ZeroPoliteness - ZeroWill I go there ever - No.

Amazing experience, very professional and treated kindly. We had a couples massage and was super relaxing. Would definitely be back and would highly recommend

We booked a hot stone massage and foot spa for my elderly mum’s birthday. The staff & atmosphere at Ubika Day Spa are exceptional. From the moment you enter the dimly lit calmness of the spa you know you are in good hands. My sister and I have attended the spa for special occasions previously and have always left raving about the treatments we received and excellent therapists. Everything is luxurious and spotlessly clean. Highly recommended.

Beautiful experience at Ubika today.My second visit to Ubika today, my therapist was Ruth (previously it was a lady by the name of Paula).I selected the Marine Algae Body Wrap plus the Express Facial. The marine scrub, the algae wrap, the moisturiser, the facial and gentle massage was excellent and exactly what I needed after my long bush walk the day before.If you ever need some pampering in the Blue Mountains, Ubika is well worth it.

Relaxing and welcoming from start to finish!!!When we arrived, Nicky the receptionist made us feel at home/special. Then Mia and Toni were bloody amazing! We had a couple's full body massage and couldn't help but book a facial the next morning! Both treatments were incredible, and we left feeling extremely relaxed and rejuvenated. Thank you all, we will definitely be back!!

Not one fault everything was perfect from entry to atmosphere. Warm, welcoming and highly professional staff, my treatments were amazing and finishing touches such as heated beds and IKOU products brought it all together. Highly recommend
