Earlier this week I booked in to test drive a Venue and Kona today. Got to the dealership at the appointment time and was told that there weren't any of those cars available to test drive. I had to chase a staff member down to ask as they were all ignoring me. On top of this, even though my name was on the booking and I was the one asking, all questions were directed to my husband who was very obviously not paying attention or interested. I was ready to buy a car today but now not from here. Huge waste of time and walked away feeling insulted and belittled.

The experience of buy a brand new van was pretty awful. I called to check availability, and they had what i was looking for, a Hyundai staria. The sales man i spoke with, Endra, was fine and pretty responsive, then the nightmare started when i had to deal with the finance: i explained clearly that i was in a rush to buy as I needed for work, the work from finance department was literally awful making me waste days. I decided to show up in the shop and i got a bit of attention. the after sale was another shocking experience. I have been sales rep in Italy so I exactly know how a sales rep behave. we spoke about dash camera, ceramic finish for the paint and tinted glass. I said i had to think and he offered 10% discount if i get all the 3 options. i replied asking for still 10% if i get 2 of the options only and i would have paid full price in case i would have picked 1 only. he said yes. after i decided to buy and pay the car cash, i also canceled the ceramic finish, and the man straight away called me saying it was true he promised 10% discount. I just shut up coz the dramas very already too much and my patience was gone. i signed and pay. they promised me to have the car ready on tuesday 10am, i got a call 8.50 saying that the car would have not be ready at that time, but at 3pm. last unprofessional move. went to the shop and picked up the car, the after sales man was there, he looked at me, but he did even said hello.also, booked in for an appointment to see the car, and i got told car was in the parking lot and they showed me something similar".another note for the laughing guy in the shop

All staff were absolutely professional and very helpful.they continually kept me updated as we prepared for delivery and every aspect of my purchase was above expectations. Fully recommend Phil Gilbert Hyundai. If there is a score higher than 10/10 I would give it.

Absolutely disgusted with the service I got here today. I purchased a genuine Kia key instead of getting an aftermarket. It cost me $600 and only lost one month before the button busted. I have taken care of this key and not dropped it.The rude Indian sales manager spoke to me said too bad it’s not under warranty. Bad luck order another one. He was super rude, not at all helpful, and now I’m out of pocket $600 after purchasing something and it only working for one month that is extremely unfair and I’m going to take this matter further. Very disappointed Phil Gilbert. This new key is falling apart and barely usable for my car.

The process of buying a new car from Phil Gilbert Hyundai Croyden was easy. I already knew I wanted an i30 Active, so there was little indecision. Joe was very helpful and easy to work with. He explained the buying process clearly, and made the collection of information quick and painless. The financial officer was also very helpful. I received regular updates about the location of my car on its trip from S Korea to Port Kembla. The car looked stunningly white and clean as its cover was whipped off. I'm delighted with my new car-it drives smoothly with a quiet engine. It's very satisfying to own my first new car!

My husband and I visited this dealership this afternoon. We walked in and after a few minutes one salesman sitting at the main reception greeted us. We greeted back and started wandering the showroom floor even though we knew what car we were interested in. There were no other customers but ourselves. As I walked through the showroom - not one salesperson made any eye contact or offered to assist. Each sat in front of their computer more absorbed in what they were doing. We were there no more than 5 minutes and my husband and I could sense that nobody seemed interested in helping us. As we walked past the reception desk, my husband commented loudly to me that we should leave as nobody seems interested in our business. Then the salesperson closest to the door - looked up and called out ‘Sir’. By then my husband had already walked out. I stopped midway and commented that they shouldn’t bother as clearly no one was interested in asking how they could assist us. As I walked out, I could hear both salesmen sarcastically saying goodbye. The chubby bespectacled one even waved. I replied ‘have a great weekend’.If the dealership is busy, the staff should acknowledge the customer and say that the sales staff are busy but will assist in due course or even offer to help after the customer has browsed the showroom floor.Not a great experience but will give you 1 star for customer parking.

Absolutely gutted. Booked an appointment for a test drive, yet the car was not there. One of the guys asked me to test drive another car instead, as it was still a ‘n’ trim. Hope he was joking or I feel sorry for the guy for not understanding what test drive means.Apparently the car was sold days prior, and none of the sales reps had intention of informing their customer that the car was no longer available. Classic Phil Gilbert. Selling is by far more important for them than quality of service.
