About the Business
Tempo Rubato | Tempo Rubato is a live classical music venue in Brunswick. Within the space is a plant nursery - Tempo Plants - and a bar which hosts other musical meals. We have a performance space for ticketed concerts with a 102 key Stuart & Sons concert grand piano. All profits made at Tempo Rubato/Tempo Plants are donated to Piano Project.

Very friendly staff, with a great selection of beautiful well priced plants. The Hoya I bought here was super big and healthy.The soil and leca here is also quite reasonably priced!

The best plant shop in Brunswick! The selection of species and variegations is really well curated, plus there's also fertilizer, pots etc (many made in Melb). Anthony is super friendly and helpful, I definitely recommend checking it out!

Not sure of the ethics/logistics of reviewing a sub-arm of your own business. But gosh we love those plants. And Anthony. We couldn't be more happy to have Tempo Plants in our world.

Tempo has a really nice selection of plants in a beautiful, unpretentious space. Anthony knows his stuff and will help you find the right plants to suit your needs. It feels good knowing that profits go to a worthy cause compared to buying elsewhere, plus you get personalised service from someone who really cares :)

34 Breese St is the centre of my village and my second home, with my growing family of plants from Tempo Plants thriving on my Rubato Upstairs desk, enjoying the music drifting up from Tempo Rubato. Anthony's carefully curated collection of plants, pots and potting ingredients and our weekly chats are an inspiration for this formerly-reluctant plant mum.
