First time staying at a Caravan Park. Big thank you to Jeff and Mark, who killed us with kindness, that won’t be forgotten. If your ever in Melb guys look us up, would love to return the favour.

We were booked to stay one night. But due vehicle problems we had no where is to stay in kununurra as every where else was booked out. The lovely ladies in the office said to come straight back and put us in a long-term stay. The only problem is the caravan park need to put up gates around and ropes put up at the entrance with swipe cards or spikes on the ground to stop the theft of cars in the caravan parks and more security lights around. People staying at the caravan park, lock your caravan doors, even when you go off to the toilets. Never leave it unlocked. I can't believe people not locking the doors and one person I spoke to he was woken up 2am and luckily he saw the male and he took off as he had his keys and wallet on the table. Also keep windows locked.

Lovely campsite with lots of greenery, set between Kelly’s Knob and Mirima National park so beautiful views either side, especially when the sun sets on the rocks. Path going directly from the campsite into the NP. Recommend the large unpowered grassy sites at the back. Ablutions clean and good shower pressure.

Amazing! What a lovely place! The caravan resort is very close to the town for convenience but far enough to get the feeling you're not too close to the centre and also so close to a nature park you can literally walk to Mirima from there back gate (which is beautiful). From the moment we got there you are greeted with a great big smile and very polite host Tami who showed us the facilities on a map and even though we got there late, still took her time to explain everything. We ended up staying 3 weeks just because we felt that welcomed! The pool is kept very well maintained by Mark and the team and honestly was enjoyed many times throughout our stay always in top condition. The kitchen is all open air out the back and is a very nice place to cook up some grub and to watch the the hills out back go a unbelievable reddish glow for the sunset (needs to be seen to understand). In the middle are the toilets and showers, they are very clean and tidy. I would highly recommend staying if you are travelling through Kununurra. Big thumbs up!P.S They have beautiful zebra rock necklaces for sale at the reception which are hand-made by a resident of the park.Alba and Shaun

Background: We are seasoned Australian travellers that booked a cabin at this park, one year in advance so that we could attend the Kununurra Ord Valley Muster. We chose this park based on the fact it was quiet and had a great pool. We paid $140 a night for ten nights. We had an awesome time at the muster. We experienced so much. Unfortunately this park did not consider its muster guests. They chose to close their pool during the muster. They did not advise any of their bookings that they were doing this. When questioned on arrival I was told it would be filled next weekend. Then they had a little laugh when I informed them we had chosen the park for the pool and because it was warm. They obviously didn't understand that I will swim on 20 degree days. No compensation was offered. Also note that staying longer then a week does not attract a weekly rate. You have to stay 3 months or more to be considered. The following weekend arrived and I asked about the pool as some other staff had been working to ready it. The reply was an indignant one from the same person who checked us in. It won't be ready for up to three weeks as the council has to inspect it.And now to the cabin we booked. Have a look at the pictures. The cabin requires a good strong clean and renovation. We have stayed in better for less. The pillows need to be replaced. They are not pillows. Fortunately we had our own. The interior is cracked and the veranda requires maintenanceThe reception hours are limited but you are not informed this when booking. Have a look at the picture of the published hours. The park was extremely quiet. Very few tourists, probably due to the bridge and flood earlier in the year. It seems to contain a fair few permanent residents. Some of their facilities are amazing whilst others appear to live in run down vans and annexes.Albeit we did meet some friendly, considerate staff. Amanda was just amazing. I would give her five stars just for her service and friendliness. She was even prepared to drop us off and pick us up from the muster if we didn't get our car back in time. Sadly she was only in the office once. She needs to be given the office job full time.Be aware that this park does not have anything for children to do.The park is quiet. The park is green. Your experience may be different to ours. For a start the pool will probably be open. Hopefully the owner renovates his cabins too. Cheers.

We stayed 3 nights in June in the unpowered area. There was plenty of space, lovely surrounds, and lots of water taps. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We also liked being well away from main roads, and enjoyed a nice quiet stay.
