Meridian Homes (Head Office)

The most unprofessional experience we've had to date dealing with Meridian Home's sales team at Oran Park in March 2022. Spent over an hour advising us the initial deposit paid to secure a lot was fully refundable, once we left their offices they did not follow up and respond to us to provide us with the contract for review, then disappeared completely when we tried to follow up. No paperwork provided, no trace of our deposit paid. We have purchased a home from another builder before so know what to expect from the process and thus have been left appalled at the lack of care and lack of professionalism displayed. We have now chosen another builder and very happy this happened so we can avoid signing with Meridian.

Do Not Trust these Builders they will scam you the sales agents will make so many promised and then go back on each of them they will raise the tender price with hidden and misleading cost in terms you may not understand coming from the building industry i was able to pick up on many of the issues they lie a lot especially about price lock and tired to make more money out of us not extending grace period over christmas break there qualilty is poor as well there display home in Box hill has leakage and major roof issues and now they are trying to sell this property be careful you will be scammed and lose a lot of money if you decide to proceed elder asian female sales consultant in box hill office (don't want to mention the name but ifyyk) she is the worst sweet talks her way out of everything and if you ask her a professional question she does'nt know how to answer just brushes it off we wasted so much time if you are new please don't go with these guys we trusted them none of the managers and seniors from head office will ever want to talk to you they will just ignore all of you quires dont be fooled or waste your hard earned money with these guys trust me its not worth it. no one can put a value of your dream home crushing and the time you will waste. extremely heartbreaking and sad. we were told we can build Geneva 50 in box hill for a certain price and then the price was raised by 150k in tender with no explanations this where alarm started to go off we asked for expliantion from head office and were disregarded and then they wanted to not give us any tender price lock stating if we signed contracts in November they will start charing us 10,000 per a month before construction start not considering Christmas and New Year no one will be working and they should have given an extention but didnt want to they just wanted to make money we complained but they didnt assist they were not even empathetic when we decided not to proceed I am only making this review to save you from going through what we did. utter disappointment

We have built with Meridian recently and have had no issues with the builder so far. On the contrary, the team that we worked with were very professional, friendly, efficient and helpful. Our site supervisor went above and beyond to make our experience easy and stress-free. It has been great so far. I would recommend.

Really pleased with the professionalism and journey to date with Meridian (contract signed and now in the preconstruction stage) There were some hiccups along the way but our sales consultant and the head office team always came up with solutions.It's our first build (a knockdown of our current home) and although stressful at times our consultant Arnie has been very reassuring. Overall everyone we've worked with has been very professional and true to their word. We're really pleased with Meridian so far and can't wait to get construction underway.

We got a home and land package from Meridian Homes. There were number of hiccups along the way and the construction took a bit longer than expected due to covid, but overall, we are very happy with the quality of the finished product.We are lucky to have Michael Raymen as our warranty and maintenance supervisor. He is very professional and pleasant to work with. Also, he is very knowledgeable and quite patient with all my queries. He goes above and beyond to do a perfect job and we have been very impressed with him. Thank you!

Our dream of having our first home in Sydney ended with home & land package from Meridian Homes.Fortunately, Madam Jenny Watson, was there to help us to make our dream home. Jenny is highly professional & was guiding in each & every step of the process. My partner and I are first home buyers and it is all new to us, with the stress of the process leading up to building stage. In the middle of last year we visited the Meridian Homes display home at Jordan Springs as we were looking at what we needed to do to build our first home. We then put our plans on hold as we were still not quite ready to build. Just as we were starting our finance approval process earlier this year I received a lovely follow up email from Jenny which prompted me to contact Meridian Homes for pricing on our new home build. Jenny and the Meridian Homes team have been extremely accomodating for what we were looking for in our house design and have allowed us to change things around on the floor plan (essentially making it our own custom floor plan). The communication from the whole team is amazing, plus the pricing and inclusions are fantastic! I would have no hesitations in recommending Meridian Homes to anyone looking to build.
